I would have sent it back and told dixon's to go away forever. Sadly, my mum took the order and we'd already got rid of our old cooker when this one arrived. I couldn't face three weeks without a cooker. It will all be worth it. It will all be worth it. And, to show no hard feelings i'll make him a cup of coffee tomorrow and I won't even spit in it! xx

LJD1 you are too nice, see I would have demanded a new one to be delivered on the same day they took out the damaged one, yes I would have used it and insisted they removed the other and installed the new one. In fact just done that with the mattress problem, it's nearly a year old but I didn't pay £200 for one to 'sink' in the middle. You don't get roll together but you roll into the middle and fall off if you sit on either end. 24th they are delivering the new one and collecting the old one. They wanted to take the old one tomorrow, like heck am I sleeping on the floor for 9 days!!

Right DP gone out, decided the boys can have a wash down (will try shower again but DS1 will probably scream the house down) instead as it'll be too late for baths by the time the film has finished. Making our dinner for about 9.15pm as DP wasn't hungry yet so I have eaten popcorn to keep me going, I like popcorn :D
One day I might be more organised...........

Good luck for tomorrow LJD! You'll do a grand job of it. Get all your ranting out, maybe on the cooker man, before you go though won't you!

Well, I've done surfaces, cupboard fronts, floor, microwave, swilled the inside of the pedal bin (ye gods!) and the inside of the undersink cupboard. i did set the countdown timer on my mobile but of course the blummin' thing was on silent still from work. I'm having one of those days!

Remembered what 'Thurs' on my arm meant though, someone wanted the day off and I forgot to let them know. Oops.

Not spotted anything worth watching on telly tonight. Wish I had a new book to crack, that's something else I haven't done for ages. Second hand book shopping at the week end I think, maybe first hand if I'm feeling flush.

Tea nearly ready then I'm going to stop sitting on the ironing pile that's on the sofa and move it. I might even iron it first.

Hi everyone. I'm going to be a bit of a wimp on this and not commit to a message exactly what I'm planning to get done. I know, I'm a coward, but I'm doing different work this week, not heard from the place I'm in tomorrow about start time etc, so all a bit vague. I'll let you know if I'm successful later and maybe next week, when I'm back to normal training instead of signup documentation, I'll be more brave. Put it down to me being a Newbie. :o

After a dismal day (3 signups and all the office staff had left when I came out of the training room at 4!!! - only 16 more signups to fit in over three days ), I have come home and spoken to my manager who's going to sort a few things, then dinner, then.................

I've cleaned all my kitchen worktops, fronts, appliances, fridge contents, skirting boards in kitchen and dining room, and dusted the dining room furniture. The only thing I'd hoped to do and haven't is vaccuum, but I'll do that tomorrow morning before I go out. I just have to print off my paperwork ready to go in my briefcase, make some sarnies and get to bed! I did my swish and swipe this morning - I always have, just didn't have a nice name for it, made the beds and planned dinner. I've done washing but it's not all dry to iron yet. :T

I may not do as well tomorrow, as I'm out all day then DS has a physio appointment at 6.30 so we won't be home until late.

Thank you for putting me back on track!

Gosh - what with Lil-me with no knickers, pigpen selling her shoes, and tia sending her frock back.........I dunno what to say :o .... it's good fun here ain't it?

Had a productive afternoon. Did read my book but was strict with myself, I set kitchen timer and sat in a chair 2 rooms away so was forced to put book down and leave the room when half hour was up. Then I:-
    • Made jam buns
    • washed kitchen, hall and small room floors
    • washed bathroom and toilet floors
    • vacuumed living room. stairs and landing
    • made 2 batches of pastry to freeze
    • made sausage rolls and wedges for dinner
    • done 2 loads washing and decorated bathroom with it
    • DW done 1 load and is on again
    • had row with DD2
2 sofas supposed to be being delivered tomorrow - rang number they gave me today as instructed to find out if it is an am or pm delivery and their computers are down so they couldn't tell me :mad::mad:

Thanks button seems to be AWOL so can't thank anyone - is it just me?

bebee thanks, welcome back, baby steps remember, you'll get back into it in no time.

Pink Fary well done, don't worry we all have days off sometimes, it'll all come back round next week, how about flicking the vacuum cleaner round the sitting room when you have done the kitchen in the morning, then that is level 1 done? It'll take you 3 extra minutes max to do where you can see *guess work as I can do the whole of downstairs quickly in under 5** . Just an idea, feel free to tell me to p*ss off and mind my own business because I am a bossy boots :o.

Kids have just gone to bed, so much for 'oh it's not that long it'll be finished by 8pm!' he says, I flippin' knew it wouldn't!!!! Well I haven't started his tea he can naff off!

**mutters to self and stomps back out**

    Evening all

Anw - don't want to go on - but I completely agree with what Lilme said - you are amazing and your kids are very lucky to have you as their mum.

Have done no flying whatsoever today - just the dailies and extra washing up after all my family came for cake! Less cooking though as went out for lunch with my friend and threw steak n SC for tea.

Just dyed my hair - I know it's nice to be my b'day but I can pretend I haven't had so many by covering the evidence LOL!

Hope to get a few more jobs done tomorrow xx

    Noooooooo

How am I supposed to catch up on all those pages when I've been at work all day, I'll have missed so much.

Managed to get up early enought to get lunches done and uniforms ironed. Since I got in tho I managed a cuppa before I had to have half hour kip as I was shattered. Cooked sweet n sour pork for tea and have practised times tables with DD at her request and read her another couple of chapters of her book at bedtime. Just came on here for todays list - TO START !! so will see how much I can do along with making a sponge cake tonight and apricot jam.

Best get my butt into gear (and also try and remember what page I'm On :D )

See ya later with an update
