Is it safe to pop in yet? There's a bit of military going on and I'd hate to get caught up in it!

Quick post as I've not made a start on anything yet. Broadband was down, now sorted. Crazy day at work, I've come home with 'Thursday' written on the inside of my wrist and can't remember why.
Big hugs to those who want one. Back when I've done something useful!

No I didn't get any of the washing put away, the kids made me go :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Here is a strange one... MY mobile rang today, number was 01293 543605 and the woman asked for hubby. She said it was Janice from Welcome Finance about a personal matter. But couldn't give any details to me as it was personal. I told her that the number she had was mine, nothing to do with him infact he has his own mobile and that the only thing we have ever had to do with Welcome was when I applied for a loan in my name and I decided not to take it. hmmmm.....

And hubby bumped a car today in his big bus so he won't be a happy chappy over the next few days.

    Pigpen is selling shoes???? where!!!!

embb.. Hubby didn't get in from work until gone 6 so it would have been half 7 before either of us could get there so we didn't go. I'll moan about it later in the week

And another thing (if we're all fully clothed). I had a text today to say the cooker repair man was coming tomorrow, as arranged, between 9am and 1pm tomorrow. You know, the man to do the repairs on the brand new cooker that we spent a fortune on believing that a new cooker meant no problems, silly me! Anyway, he phoned tonight to say he'd be coming at 8am. Erm....no you won't! Well I need to, says man, or i'll have to come another day. No, says me, you're coming between 9 and 1. I can't do 8 as I have to get DD to school early for a gym class. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I told him he'd be here between 9 and 1 and he agreed. Feel better for that!

    List for tomorrow;

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, no injuries, no pregnant people moving sofas please!!)
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it
    • Phone a friend or loved one, catch up on the gossip or just to tell them you care x
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe
    • Clean a window, only need to do one but if you manage more then :D well done
    • Using the idea Shirley suggested (where is she anyway?), get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. You could delegate and give everyone their own misplaced things to deal with :D
    • DW
    • WM
    • Dryer
Mmmm, tomorrow I have my hospice interview....lets hope i'm a little more chilled for it. Nah, i'll be fine by then. It's only annoying people who I have no time for.

Is there anything good on telly tonight?

Think our heating is bust. I've got the windows open and I am so, so hot (as in overheated not raunchy!) xx
