I get the freezing it but I think putting it in the airing cupboard might make it smell nice in there but would dry the soap out .....a lot :-/

i personally don't freeze soap, i keep it in undies drawer, makes it smell nice. (i don't have an airing cupboard.)

When towels are getting old and getting a bit thin in the middle cut them down, bath towels make hand towels or small towels to use in the kitchen I have even made face cloths from smaller pieces. Just cut out the worn part and sew the raw edges of the good bits.
Like wise with bed sheets, my children all had cot sheets (many many years ago, may I add) made from cut down sheets, I also made pillow slips from sheets.0 -
put empty perfume bottles in drawers of dressing table instead of using scented drawer liners.
when taking kids on shopping trips etc make sure you take drink and snacks with you.0 -

I do that! just be careful though with real perfume as it can be a bit oily and could mark delicate items. I ruined a silk scarf with body shop white musk a few years ago

yeah that happens when you have kids. i find bath blocks smell good in drawers if kept wrapped.0 -
use the blank side of junk mail for shopping lists, or paper for
kids to colour on.

yes it makes my biro last years (as i liberated it from argos, so cheaper still.)
and my kids are called by the same name, so bithday cards get used 3 times a year, this one has been going for 3 years now, 9 uses, and was 10p in a bargain bin. also, sent each one an xmas card in there first year, reused them ever since.
do i come accross as tight??0
