The 120piece socket set is £89 with the trade card, I keep meaning try and get one (the trade card)

The socket set is fantastic, wish I'd bought one much earlier.

Cool, might have to pick up a bottle for the sake of it to shove in the boot as a "get me home" if the worst happens.

Just got my trade card. Took in a pile of out of date invoices with a new one on the top. He asked if I had a wage slip - I showed him a print out from the website that said a large amount of invoices should be acceptable. He asked if I was a self-employed mechanic and I told him the truth that I was a student and did work on my own car, and he went off to ask the manager who ok'd it.

I've got to go back on Monday and speak to the manager, the guy on the parts department and the duty manager said it would be up to the manager if I could get one. Of course, your average halfords shopper last went to a another parts supplier for:-

    Inner wing water pipe,
    Clutch Alignment tool,
Lower wishbone and ball joint breaker,
    Various Oils & Filters

 I'm annoyed that I've not kept all my reciepts over the past year, actually I'm suprised how much I now do myself!

M8, the card is available to the home fixer and not just garage chaps.

Just go to your local Halfords and say that this is whats stated within there own website and you will get a card.

    Regards.
