I bought a Halfords Professional socket set (not that particular one) that was reduced by 50% and got a further 20% off. i.e. original price £49.99 reduced to £24.99 and I paid £19.99.

its 124.99 with trade card0

Another thing to bear in mind is that if you do click & collect on anything make sure they scan the item, not the item barcode on the C&C paperwork, if they do you won't get any trade discount.0

Went to get some Halfords oil , on trade card today , and it was only giving £2.10 off their own oil brand , usually I get around £10 off
Are the " Halfords trade card " discounts finally coming to and end ???0 -
Was the oil on a special offer to everyone?
I nearly slipped up yesterday - I went to buy 2 5litre containers of Windscreen wash at £4.99 each.
I came up on the till that it came to £7 something which was fair enough, I thought
But the person on the till then kindly told me that I wouldn't be getting the best deal by using the card as the screenwash was on special offer.
It was buy one get one free and there was no sign to tell me about it on the pallet that I took them from - only a tiny notice on a shelf in another part of the store.
So 10 litres for £4.99
Note to self - be careful in future.0 -
As I posted earlier bulbs have gone from 49p to £1.50 so it looks like they are cutting the discounts.0

They've changed the whole system. Fixed percentages for different categories. Bulbs & wipers 50% for example.
some things will be cheaper, others won't, but all the prices listed here are now outdated.
although halfords advanced tools are actually real good quality at real good prices even before the discount.0 -

They are, and the guarantee is superb. I'm gradually replacing all the tools in my workshop with Halfords Professional. The only issue I have is that a lot of the sockets are 12 point and I prefer 6 point for things that are very tight.
I have has to get a couple of pieces exchanged and haven't had a problem at all.0
