Hi Mooloo, really glad to hear you got the job closer to home. I'll be in Oxford this weekend but probably not in Cowley when the shop's open, or I'd pop in. My sister is planning to take us round Oxford Castle/Prison tomorrow afternoon.

Fingers crossed all the palaver with the council results in the right decisions being made about everything.

Hi Seaxwyn, sorry I missed your entry. I am not at the computer much at weekends anymore as I usually am off to my BF's. I escape the family as much as I dare. Hope that you enjoyed your tour of the Prison yesterday. We were in town centre in the mid morning, and then we went to Kidlington to buy some material to line one of the hampers that I bought in January. I was turning it into a picnic basket for BF's Dads wedding next week. So I spent last night and most of this morning sewing. Hope they will like it.
(its also got most of the goodies in it except cranberry Jelly (that had broken) and the xmas pudding ....obviously.
Am officially the manager at Cowley as of tomorrow. Think I may have an early night tonight. Makesure I am well enough to go to work. DS has his orthodontist appointment in the morning at the JR but Twin2 is going to take him on my behalf. So they can manage somethings together. I cant really take the morning off when its my first official morning as the boss!!.
Perhaps we will manage to catch up one of these days.

Afternoon anyone thats about. I am home trying to be motivated and get the twins motivated. (its not working though). I thought that I would be full of the joys of spring, but for some reason I am a bit down.
Well there are a few reasons really. I am still on reduced hours at work and so I cant seem to get my teeth into the new job as yet. On Thursday and Friday I am having to work full days, and so I was told by the area manager to take tomorrow and wednesday off of work. But I felt deflated, as I really want to start to make changes and improve the shop and I am not there now until Thursday!

Just had to go and get some baked beans from next door. Dam! 25p cheapest ones they do. Was just saying a few things were getting me down, the other main one is that I think I have found a home for my Dog, but that should be good news. Except obviously I dont really want to let him go. So I am grieving the loss of him, even though I havent quite lost him yet.
I asked the girls to do some work today, half an hour of ironing each, and one to vacuum upstairs the other down. But when I got home from work, nothing was done. Infact all the lectures I have had, all the incentive talks, nothing. Twin2 is trying a bit, but twin 1 is just not doing anything. Well I say isnt doing anything, she is knitting, nothing in particular just rows and rows of plain knitting?
Its a good afternoon out there to get the washing dry, but they hadnt hung it out. Infact when I got home the tumble dryer was on, with the baby whites and the towels in. ( A wash I had asked them to hang out when I went to work).
Now I have had my moan, I have had my cup of tea. Now I must get myself motivated and over the mood.!!!
My parents are coming to see me on Wednesday, before I go to physio, so I should be motivated to do a bit of a flylady on the house. But as I forgot my tablets this morning, I am too sore to use my arm now. Typing is enough.!!!! Going to have another read on Hypno's thread to get motivated. Might even see if I can find the flylady thread and get reading there. Hopefully I can get myself sorted enough to have a flying start tomorrow as I am not at work. Try not to waste it having a lie in.

Right, another day. Lets see if I can achieve something else. I ended up flipping from thread to thread last night and it was around 11.30 before I finally went to bed. Went to get up at 7am and then was reminded that I have today off, so went back to sleep. Oops, 9am before I got up.
I am just waiting for the bathroom, then I hope to attempt a visit to Lidl. Was just saying on the Grocery thread, that I have moved near to a Lidl store so I shall see if I can grab a bargain in there, rather than have a Mr T Delivery. Plan to take the twins with me, as I cant carry with my left arm.
hypno has reminded me that there are lots of ways of earning above my meagre income, and I really need to focus on ways and means of doing that, so that I can live a life to which I am accustomed. (Well no other half living with me to provide it!!! ). I am joking there, I wouldnt let anyone if they tried. Bit of an independant lady me. (Least I try to be).
Mum and Dad are visiting tomorrow before they are off to France for 3 months. Gives me the incentive to do a bit of Fly lady round the house.
Ah sounds like that bathroom is free. Catch you later.

Not sure where the day has gone. I managed, gingerly, to hang out some washing, then when the girls were finally ready it was noon!. We went to Lidl. I spent a fortune, £147.26!! But I hope that it will last me out for the rest of the month, except for milk and fresh fruit and veg. But I got so much stuff, that the cupboards are bulging.! Now I must make sure I use it all wisely and make the dreaded menu plan that I have started to go off on a tangent from.
I could do with better computer skills, I tried to copy and paste some recipes from the grocery challenge, and the jamie oliver challenge and ended up pasting the whole web page. So I have about 82 pages of back ground and all the rest as well. Not what I wanted. Will take me just as long going through that as it would be the web site!!.

I know it's not a lot of help, but the only thing I find which works on the motivational front is "I am not doing X which you want me to do for you unless you do Y which I want you to do for me."

Charge them extra for using the Tumble Drier! Or take the plug off ...

Unfortunately the Tumble drier is actually the washing machine too. So I cant cut the plug off. I have been trying so hard to motivate them. To be honest I am beginning to think that they are suffering from post natal depression. I think I should have a quick word with the health visitor. Problem is now that I dont actually seem to see her as I am at work in the mornings, (well most mornings).
Just watching how to look good naked. Eek, it frightens the life out of me. Mind you I buy my clothes in the charity shops so I couldnt dream of the prices they are spending on there.

I have been trying to think of ways of raising my income, apart from going back to work full time. Most of my income is goig to be swallowed up by the enormous rent here. I was tempted not to try for a nano second, but its not me. I want to be fit enough to return to work full time. Now that I have been given the Cowley shop for a start that has also motivated me. I want to make it work, its loosing money compared to last year, and I really would like to make my mark and help raise the funds that the British Heart need to carry on.
I also need to make myself feel better about the situation that we are in. I have strugled to do things for a while. But as I carry on, things are getting a little easier. I am learning my limits now, I can tell that I did far too much last night and this morning, I have lifted far too much, and shopping, I ended up lifting more than I should.
The twins and Son are all home. It seems strange that we are all actually under one roof. Just lately someone has been out and about. ( mostly me and my son!!) oops.

Well I have been busy going through all the junk emails i get and all the surveys etc. Most of the evening has gone. But just to see if I can actually get anything, I have ordered £5 worth of Cinema from my ipoints.
Also £10 boots voucher, and £10 HMV voucher from my pigsback. It was a hell of a struggle remembering my passwords etc. But I got there eventually. I suppose that that would go towards the £10 a day challenge or would that be a nuetral Christmas? Who knows.
Now I am really and truely passed my bedtime. I must get some sleep, my parents are coming to see us all tomorrow and I have my physio.
