Problems reformatting PC

okay...looks very complicated. There are 37 files on the disk. 1 to 11 are just numbered as such. Then I have the following:
Acrobat
bsi
driver
FR
INST
Links
sbsi
SERVICE
tip
tiscali
UK
uni
vs
windvd
There are autorun, set up etc but these will not run. If i click on the set up file it shows set up failed to start due to MSVBVM50.DLL was not found.
Is this something I am going to be able to fix myself.
As i said the recovery disk is a new disk from Fujitsu as I was unable to find the one that came with the machine. They asked me the serial number etc but I have done this with the old disk once before and it worked fine. Installed all drivers. Is it something to do with the disk compatibility?DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
What is the make/model of the PC, it may be easier to get the necessary driver file from their support site. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

If you open the cd and then open driver you will prob. get more options and then choose the one for your os- they often don't autorun and you have to nudge it along.0

You want the one for your operating system eg. xp, and anything with adapter or lan or ethernet etc. - If you pick the wrong one nothing will happen so just try them all! When its installed you will see it in device manager , it's not actually a piece of physical hardware but consists of software.0
