  • Haven't bothered to wipe it off, just left it on the walls.
    I hate migraines.
  • I also use baby sterilising solution- its brill when applied neat on walls and window sills, i also use dettol as well. I have tried the condensation trays and work initially but then costs mount up with having to replace the crystals. it just seems to be the back of our house which has problems with condensation where bathroom and kitchen is, although only kitchen window gets mould on it.

I'd second this, except I used Wickes anti-damp/mould paint and used cuprinol water seal for the brickwork outside (along with repointing the bricks where necessary). From a room that would constantly get damp up the outside walls theres nothing there now.

Hi, is the cuprinol water seal clear? or does it have a colour to it? Only asking as we are private owners in a council block of flats and therefore are not allowed to make any adjustments etc to the outside walls! So frustrating as we have it in practically every room! They know there is a problem but they would want to charge us all over a £1000 a flat for the maintenance bill!
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D
