But, one thing is true - Scotland is grim. The people over the years have spent so long hating everything English that they have let their cities fall into absolute disrepair, have one of the highest poverty rates on the British Isles, Highest drink/death rate and highest drug rate, lowest education rate and its always freezing. Ok I admit, there is the odd nice mountain and a bit of history but Scotland imo ranks as one of the worst countries on the planet.
