I work in a Tesco Extra store and we are open 24 hours a day, the reductions are done all day. The later in the day the reductions are done the more they take off, so it will end up they are nearly paying you to take it. LOL
We have staff to do it as that's all they do, just the reductions. I hope this helps.0 -
@ ME2 - I'm sorry if you find my post offensive. Each evening that I work I get shouted at and pushed about - All over reduced items - I have had people screaming in my face calling me names which I won't repeat on here. I was never ignorant or rude to any customer that came into the store, I reduced the items to the price I was allowed. Yet the level of abuse I received from customers has now resulted in a security guard having to stand with me as I reduce most of the products.
I think that you are being really rude saying that its no wonder I need security with me. I don't think you would like to experience what I do each day I work! I don't know what I've done on you that you have to be so nasty and attack me for a comment which I made about customers in the store where I work.
Yes there are some nice customers who constantly come into the store to buy reduced items and to be honest I am glad to see a friendly face. But for every nice regular customer there are at least half a dozen more nasty customers.
You really need a security guard? I thought that was a joke:eek:0 -
