This is really the future of TV! Watch any BBC TV programme from the previous week. All free! Well OK through the licence fee!
Not long before we all have PC's connected to our TV's!

Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:
As well as the BBC's offering, check out Channel 4's 4OD and ITV's Catch Up services. Whilst as commercial channels these both charge for some content, there's still a variety of free TV available too.
You're currently not required to have a TV license to use these services, as the license is for 'live' programmes only. It's likely a license will be necessary in future when these services stream directly what's on the channel.
Thanks to brad for posting this offer

The BBC iPlayer is being launched on Virgin Media this year as well so it should offer more BBC shows than what they already offer over cable.0

I've been using both BBC iPlayer and the 4OD and both programmes running the following exe file: kservice.exe , even when you are not using either of the softwares, unless you stop it manually. It can slow down other processes on your computer, as it's uploading the TV programmes, which you downloaded to watch,to other people.
There are many discussions about this on the Net, if you want to read further.
Otherwise it's a good idea.0 -
Thanks Brad
