Hi, I have an overdraft which I am paying interest on, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to transfer this debt to a 0%credit card? Sure this question has been asked before here but can't seem to see an answer.

Hi I'm new to the site but can you still help me?
can I transfer a GE Money loan to a Balance Transfer Card?

I quite regularly get denied when applying for a new credit card to tansfer my balance, when I ensuire when the credit agency used to score me I score 999 everytime. The credit agency provides a service in which they recommend credit cards that I would qualify for however I'm even getting turned down by these and it appears the reason why is that I've had my credit card cloned in the past and had some fraudulent transactions out of my account.
What can I do to reserve this as I'm currently paying full wack on interest payments every month and my outstanding balance isn't enough to apply for a bank loan for.

The score is meaningless because the agencies don't lend money.
It's easier to keep customers satisfied by given them a high score rather than a low score even though it means nothing.it appears the reason why is that I've had my credit card cloned in the past and had some fraudulent transactions out of my account.
Get a copy of your statutory report, which will cost £2 each from each of the 3 main agencies, and see if there is a marker.
If you have been the victim of fraud, you could re-contact those you've applied to, ask them to re-consider, and volunteer to provide extra evidence of identity.
If you were suspected of being involved in fraud, you'd have to contact the credit provider who submitted that marker and ask them to remove it.
You can also submit a notice of correction which the agency will supply to anyone who searches your file.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

Yes you can. providing you can get a new 0% card and providing that card is from a different card issuer to hers.
Presumably you are talking about debt on credit cards of hers?
If she has debts not on credit card that you want to pay off then you need to choose one of the few cards that allows money transfers.
Assuming its card debt then its advised to do the transfer via online banking from your card as sometimes if you do it by phone the customer service rep will ask and then some won't agree to the transfer. If done on line all you enter is her card number and the amount you want to transfer.
Obviously you will become legally responsible for her debt and if she doesn't pay you will have to (or your file will be affected).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
This may be a stupid question but what exactly can you use a balance transfer for?
I have an old student bank account which I am in the overdraft of now get charged interest on. I am wondering whether I can transfer the overdraft to a credit card as a balance transfer.
Is this possible or does it need to be card to card?
Many thanks0 -

Hi there, I am new to this too and worried about messing it up. If I apply for a balance transfer now, and give my credit card details, when the new one pays off the old one, will it include the recent pending transactions that havent yet appeared on a statement? For example, I bought something today, if I apply today will it include this purchase ? I hope that makes sense!! Thanks:o0
