    Like you I'm an existing customer and as yet don't have the app. So are you saying you were given the choice to have the Amazon gift card, how did it work?

    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    Yes please @sheffieldeagle elaborate what you did to receive the gift card as an existing customer and are you also expecting the cashback?

    The offer described by the OP is "any customer that holds a Scottish Widows Share Dealing Account or Stocks & Shares ISA"; so sheffieldeagle's pension doesn't seem to fit that. Maybe that's what happened?

    I phoned up Scottish Widows to clear up a few things. They currently have two offers for registering their app for the first time. One is the £25 cashback currently being discussed. The other is a free deal (a saving worth £5) if done before the end of November 26 (paid back in January 27). I asked if you could get both offers and they said yes.

    I have a Scottish Widows S&S ISA which pays no interest in uninvested cash. Some of my investments pay a dividend and I have "autoinvest" dividend payments set up. This matching of dividend payments and buying up to the equivalent cost of new shares always creates a small surplus of cash left over. This has been building up to almost £200 and this free trade is useful for me to invest almost £200 with no dealing charges. My uninvested cash is now just a few pounds.

    Yes just signed up for the app and through a third party provider 'one code' received a code to claim a gift card (lots of choice) through 'simply thank you'.

    Cheers

    Have I read the wrong terms for this £25, or a different offer?

    I have the S&S ISA from the move from iweb, have downloaded the app etc and the terms say the £25 will be deposited in the (so far unused) sharedealing account by 10 Feb 2027. No mention of a voucher or 'onecode' voucher?

    Guess you had a different offer @sheffieldeagle

    A bit off the already meandering topic, but I downloaded the app for the £25 cashback and while checking my details I seem to have acquired a middle name. My new middle name is "Txt". This does appear on the web login. Anyone else seeing this? I will ask to have it fixed, I don't want it to mess up any ISA transfers because the names don't match.

    Re: middle name, I have a middle name and it doesn't show - but neither does "Txt"

    Yes, as a new customer apply and open a scottish widows S&S ISA or share dealing account, then download app, register and log in before 4th January 27. Search their website for T&C`s.
