Mobile Broadband???

If you have ruled out mobile broadband and Hyperoptic fits the bill then you can easily go with them.
The company gets generally favourable reviews (an example below)

Hyperoptic's FTTP installation should be no different from a more typical Openreach one, they can use existing BT/Openreach poles/ducts if they are available.
Just as a double-check, stick your address into the Openreach availability checker

My error, what I meant was I can not have FTTP, only FTTC, but from my understanding even if I could I cannot have normal bog standard sit on desk phone like I have now.
I know I could use VOIP and possibly other options to retain my old, had for decades, phone number, but it's all more work and mucking about. If i have to change then I'll do it once and forget it for another ten years.
Just for info, I used the link provide by Peter 999_2 . Assuming it works as it does for him, my BB will be £2.35 per month for two years and no price increases.

Not true about the phone unless it's an old analogue phone, we have the BT 90638 Advanced Cordless Home Phone sitting in it's base station and as it happens, in just 2 days time it'll be 7 years old. Never missed a beat on FTTC, FTTP or Virgin Media.
Edit: I thought you'd dumped the mobile broadband option?

No, that dump mobile option dumper was the OP. I'm going onwards and hopefully upwards

Sorry for keeping bothering you with long further queries, I hope these are the last ones. I need clear replies as I want to switch asap.
On MSE:
Sky Superfast Broadband
Expected speed 49Mb-73Mb (cannot find upload/download)
Equivalent Monthly Cost £20.88*
*MSE Alert says "Unlike most big providers, Sky's price doesn't include all future mid‑contract rises. Sky says prices are variable and so doesn't give pound and pence increases, though hikes are likely each spring. If these happen without advance notice, you'll have 30 days to leave penalty‑free. This also means the 'equivalent monthly cost' shown is likely a few pounds lower than what you'll actually pay over the contract.
The NOW Superfast option seems very similar. It's owned by Sky but has OK reviews, while Sky has Good.
In the past I switched from part-fibre to cable (Sky and Virgin Media), and then back to part-fibre (now with TalkTalk). It was a long time ago so I cannot remember how easy it was (cables are still there, although in another room from the one I work in).
Openreach says full fibre is not available for me. Sky says it is, although I guess Sky uses a different system.
To sum things up:
Don't want mobile broadband. Don't want TV nor landline.
Currently have TalkTalk (with 37.62 Mbps, 44.71 Mbps download, 4.07 Mbps upload, which may be a bit too slow)
Any comments on this package? I need clear replies as I want to switch asap. Thanks so much again.

Sky Superfast (and the NOW equivalent) are not full fibre services. If it was full fibre there wouldn't be a range of potential speeds quoted. It's probably equivalent to your current service and you'll get a very similar speed.

Did you use the Openreach checker I linked to? This said "No FTTP"?
I'd be minded to believe Openreach over Sky. The vast majority of Sky's broadband customer's connect via Openreach. Sky do use another network (CityFibre) but generally only for their Premium 1Gbps+ FTTP services. Be very surprised if you have CityFibre available as well as Hyperoptic but I guess you could check.
If it turns out you only have your existing FTTC available then it might well be that you are getting the maximum speed available - you need to see what the minimum guaranteed speed is when you get a quote from Sky (or any other FTTC supplier).
IF you want to go quicker then it looks like that Hyperoptic deal (and it's annual price rises) might be the one. After 24 months you might be forced to look again (and get another install if another FTTP service is available) depending on what price they offer at contract renewal.
Bottom line, want a service much like the one you have with TalkTalk but for less money - go with the Sky deal.
See what cashback/gift card deals are available signing up via MSE/Topcashback/Quidco - my quick look says TODAY it's £100/£85/£50 but that's at my address.
EDIT : Should also mention Virgin since you had them before. Might as well ask them if they would be able to offer service just for completeness.

I nearly completed the switch to Sky via Topcashbackbut it turned out that their first available installing visit is in a month time. I can't wait that long. So I'd better switch to a copper, part-fibre broadband supplier, which I think can be done quicker. Openreach says full fibre is not accessible yet, but many websites take me directly to full fibre packages even if I select a Standard one. And last but not least many FTTP are cheaper than the FTTC. I don't know what to do.

Have you checked , that'll tell you at what stage FTTP is at. It sounds like they're building or at the order stage now. Personally I'd either hold on or order FTTP now if anyones site allows it, rather than sign up for a 2 year FTTC. Although with the possible exception of Sky given their price will go up in April allowing you to leave for a FTTP service from someone else, ETC free.
