No. You need to tell them to erase the old address, as you saw when you read the LBC response in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes because they could well purposefully send a claim form to the old address in order to obtain a default judgment. You are dealing with scum here remember. Telling them to erase your old address covers your back.

OK so they now have my details and today they emailed me the following
We write in relation to the above matter.
While you state that the location is subject to airport byelaws, this does not invalidate the charge. The PCN was issued for a breach of contractual terms, clearly communicated through signage at the site. Our client is entitled to pursue the outstanding balance on this basis.
By entering and parking the vehicle on our client's private land, you agreed to enter into a contract with our client and to be bound by the terms and conditions of that contract. The terms and conditions were clearly displayed at the entrance and in prominent places within the car park. Due to your failure to comply with the terms and conditions, our client has issued the PCN therefore if we are instructed to issue a claim the reason would be for Unpaid parking charges/breach of contract.
Considering the evidence, we hold we must advise that the PCN and its associated processes are in line with industry standards and are compliant with our clients Accredited Trade Association’s code of practice.
In relation to your comments regarding keeper liability, we note that this Parking Charge was issued as a Non-Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Non-PoFA) Notice to Keeper. Liability is pursued on the reasonable assumption that the registered hirer was the driver at the time of the event where no driver details have been provided. While you are under no obligation to identify the driver, the absence of driver details does not automatically invalidate the Parking Charge.
You remian liable as the hirer of the vehicle.
We ask that you make the full payment of £170.00 within 7 days of receipt of this email.

So do I wait for a letter now or reply to their email and politely decline their very kind offer?

I wouldn’t contact them. They are clearly trying it on and hoping you cave in

As long as you have given them your current address, IGNORE THEM !
3 -
It was a hire car anyway so the address is that of the hire company

No it isn't…? Surely they are writing to you not the hire company?
