Did you read about the additional recovery charge, which is usually £70? Of course you didn't - it was buried in the small print 😉

That's they they put an essay on these signs - so everyone missed the salient points, but it can be pointed to as present at a later date.

These signs are carefully crafted, but in breach of the CRA 2015.

Any car park in the land could have the signs changed to be made as clear as possible by an agency - and revenue for the parking companies would plummet.

Thank you for you reply. I am really getting worried because it has been past the 14 days now and I am really struggling to work out what to do. I have emailed the GP on Friday but he did not get back. I think I have found post 2 and 4 is post 2 referring to complaining to PALS in this scenario and post 4 about debt collector letters? I really do not want it to get to that stage. The driver and I were there for an actual appointment if we knew we had to register at the reception we would have. It would not make sense not to. I have contacted the GP but no reply and it has gone past the 14 days. We really do not want to pay the £70 but also do not want to go through dept collectors. I will try to contact PALS and hope they back back soon. Thank you again and I apologise for the rookie questions and worry.

Do not consider paying anything, therefore the 14 days makes no difference. Debt collector letters are only that, letters and debt collectors have no power. Follow the advice given by @GrannyKate.

Thank you. That does make sense. Is there a certain time frame that needs to be met while waiting for a reply? I sent the email on Friday to the GP practice. Yes, it was a appointment though NHS so I'm thinking you are correct about renting it out. I have emailed PALS. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you

Ideally you would have given them a deadline, of say 2 or 4 weeks

Who cares about debt demands? They don't knock on your door, it's not bailiffs.

Did you read what post 4 of the NEWBIES thread says about those?! Nothing to worry about. I don't know why you are worried or think there's any deadline.

There isn't. None of it matters. As I said: no appeal will work but nobody pays Civil Enforcement Ltd.

Ignore, ignore then ignore some more, but:

TELL THEM IF YOU MOVE HOUSE.

Do not ignore a Claim Form. Easy peasy to defend and CEL discontinue cases in the end. No risk, no cost, no hearing, nothing to pay.

    🙂

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi. I hope you are well. I did not hear anything back from the GP practice via email. So I contacted them on the phone and they have told me as it was a Dermatologist appointment they do not have any records. And I will need to contact my GP or the Dermatologist. PALS have got back to me but they are saying we need to contact Greater Manchester Integrated Care. I have emailed them but also not heard any reply. We are really worried as it is almost coming up to 28 days. Is there any other advise we really cant afford £70 just for the sake. Thank you

Dont pay it then, just don't !

You only have to pay if a judge says so

Meanwhile, email Graham Stringer MP, about it, if he is your constituency MP
