    Morning folks,

Off to work in a minute, but have been productive so far

Done 2 loads of washing, taken the rubbish/recycling out, swished the kitchen, OH made the packed lunches and have half made a sausage casserole. Half made because my tin opener is now in the bin and I will finish off the casserole when I get back later.

Just going to do my teeth/hair and make up a flask of tea for my lunch.

Hope you all have a good day

  • Hi

Have the house to myself today as ds has gone for his 3rd day at school....has gone very well so far much better than I expected and his support teacher seems very nice ( ds is autistic).

Feels very strange not having him with me as the last 4 and a half years have revolved around him and if I am honest I miss that....most parents at the school seem relieved to have their life back but I dont like the change it has made to my life really and miss having the time with him....I must be a bit wierd :o .
I am sure I will adapt eventually.
Today I plan to make a chicken pie from yesterdays chicken dinner( thanks ladies on here for the chicken pie recipes :T ) and then some soup with the carcass for Tuesday.

Also going to do meal plans and do an online shop.....not sure whether to go with asda or MrT...will decide later.

oh and I have the usual washing etc and getting it dry now my tumble tryer has conked out grrrr:mad: .

Hope everyone has a lovely day

    love claire

    Hi All
well I'm back from the hospital and the news is not good my knee is knackered the arthritis has got in there and made a real mess of it they did fix the cartiladge but that won't do any good really
so the upshot is when I'm in a wheelchair and can't walk they will replace it but not until then because of my age and the length of time that they last and they don't know how or when that is going to be
    pam xx
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

    Hi all,
quick ten mins for a cuppa and then i`m back to the grind.
I`ve really blitzed the bathroom and the bedroom and all thats left to do in our room is clean the mirrored wardrobe doors - something i hate doing.
I`ve even started in one of the spare rooms but i can`t get around much as it`s full of boxes and the cat likes to hide in there, the new hoover is fantastic but seems so cumbersome after the dyson it takes longer to do but is making a far better job of it all than i`ve been able to do in ages-the turbo brush thingy makes a piece of cake out of our bedroom carpet which before i had to do with a dry pair of rubber gloves on my hands and knees because i hated any dog hair being on it.
I`ve just blitzed the gravy from the slow cooker now its cooled and fed the cat and let it out now that she`s finally ventured downstairs, she seems not to mind the new hoover as much as the old one maybe cos it`s not as noisy.
Right i`d best get back to it as i want to be out with the dogs for one ish and in the bath before DH gets home from work then i can start in the kitchen and i have to nip out too.
Sorry to hear your news Mrs_Mix i can really sympathise, my dad was exactly the same with his arthritis and ended up housebound and unable to get upstairs, it was awful, however he now has two new knees and he is much better but still only ventures out of the house when we take him to the shops or bring him up here.
My sis has just had a test for arthritis and has been cleared but i have it in my knees and ankles, it`s restrictive and sometimes very painful so i know how you must be feeling.
    Hope you feel better soon.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

    afternoon all,

Well I feel :A :A :A , have totally gutted kitchen, everyting out of cupboards, washed, cleaned inside of cupboards, and all put back in, tops of cupboards cleaned, outside and kickboards cleaned, got rid of loads of stuff which I have been keeping 'just in case':confused: I NEVER use these things, so its good to get rid.

Have gone two loads of washing, which are blowing on the line, hoovered whole house, mopped floors, polished, tidied DD' pit, cleaned bathroom. I have even taken all cushions off sofa and chair and vacumed under.
For some reason I seen to have bounless energy today, I think its because they are all back at work/ school and I can get back into my routine.

Going to prepare dinner in a moment, make fridge soup and pasta bake. Then only the online shop to do.

Mrs-Mix so sorry to hear the news re your Knee, Hugs to you xx

NoahsPennilessMummy, I felt the same as you when my DD first went to school, you will get used to it, and end up enjoying your 'you time' xx

Happy anniversary to the pookies, go on post a photo :D

    xx
