Morning all
SCUZZ congrats on your extra job
Hugs to all who feel rotten.
Stayed up last night and watched Trading Places on film4. Oh to be able to watch a film with minimal swearing and nudity that's clever and funny.
It's blowing a gale here, appears it will be like this all week. The upside is that it's getting lighter every day. I get quite excited about that at this time of year.:j
Have to go food shopping to day, intend to spend £30 maximum. Have paid £200 off one of my credit cards this month and will try and pay more next month. Also am off to Argos to buy new curtain rail for DS room and a mattress topper for our bed as my back is still giving me jip.
OH will be home from his night shift in a bit. In tend to carry on decluttering DS room and sorting correspondence, also probably a bit of ironing and dusting. Can't hoover until OH gets up. Dinner is beef stew, dumplings and veg.
Have a good day all and AUSSIE don't melt away.

Morning!
Asda's yesterday and managed to be overcharged for green tea:j
Not that that is really anything to celebrate but it meant they had to compensate with a £2 gift card;)
I had to buy DD's bus ticket on saturday as she is back at school .(£40 for the month)
OH has thrown away all the wrapping paper I had put aside for smoothing out and saving till next year. I do this every year and use it to wrap everything I give as xmas pressies(OH always buys new).
The air is still not really clear again here. At the moment I cant say anything without it being interpreted as a 'nag'.
He is doing an OU course and not getting on very well with the planning (he tends to get flustered very easily with anything on computer as it never works the way he expects it to but insists that paper and pencil is not as good) so he is in a purple thug and noone is safe from backlash (not violent just a spread of depressing comments and actions like a dementor). It means he does illogical things too and then later denies doing or saying them.
Its very hard going when he is like that.
Oh well mustn't grumble. Everyone has their ups and downs.
I spent a peaceful afternoon in the garden pruning all the fruit bushes and clearing the remains of the sweetcorn and climbing beans.Nothing like a spot of gardening to calm things down.
Im off to put liver an bacon casserole in the SC for tea in a minute.
Then I am going to tackle the wood floors with my new mop thing that I bought yesterday.I havent really cleaned them properly before as the old mop held so much liquid i ws afraid to soak the laminate too much and have it warping.

DD still unwell and now has a heavy head cold on top of everything else, debating getting a cusultation with a neurologist done privately so will phone for a price later today, not very mse but better than waiting and worrying
I went back to work on Thursday and soon slotted in as if I had never been away, other than the fact that the reception class children I remember are now year 2:eek: By end of Fridays shift I was exhausted but hope this will get easier. Still pacing at home to alleviate any symptoms.
Found out yesterday that I have won the crossword comp on pigsback - 2000 points! - £20- first win in all the 2 years I have been entering comps on there, so don't give up! Also £10 in a local draw so maybe our luck is changing - going to treat dd to something.
