PCN from UKPA - Appeal Declined

Hi

I would like some advice for this if possible please. I received this PCN as the keeper of the vehicle for overstaying in a car park by two [2] minutes.

I used the template letter to appeal and have received the following back. Does this mean that I should pay the £60, rather than appeal to POPLA?

I appreciate there is a lot of experience in this forum, so thought I would ask!

Thanks

Is the first hour free. ?

Their allegation is that no payment was made before exiting the car park

Where on here does it tell you to pay?

You state you over stayed by two minutes, that is unlikely to be the reason for the PCN, the rejection states that no payment was made not an over stay, was this a VRN mistake?

What was your appeal, not that they would accept it there's no money in that?

PCN was issued too late for POFA to apply.

I didn't read that as the NTK, that must just be the appeal rejection.

9 August is the date of appeal rejection, not the NtK Issue Date.

Can we please see the initial Notice to Keeper please @LJG1985

They are saying they are unable to locate any payment, not that you overstayed.

Show us & them your evidence of payment.

Seems strange that both the appeal and the rejection took place on Sunday 9th August!

Obviously needed some time to consider it! Doesn’t the Joint Code allow them 10 nanoseconds? 😁

    Thanks for the swift replies.

Apologies for the delay, I did not have notifications turned on for this thread.

I forgot to state that this car park is free for the first hour and then chargeable afterwards.

The PCN states that the time there was 62 minutes.

I am currently working away but will ask my wife to send a picture of the original PCN to post on here.
