Interesting I haven't had an email or anything in the app about this
Completely forgot I have a Santander CC but it has a balance transfer on it, prefer not to spend on that just in case!
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Can you not even spend a few pence on it?

Probably but the problem with BT cards is where they allocate the money to, it's generally not a good idea to mix and match spending

You don’t register any account, you just opt into the prize draw. Santander will check behind the scenes what your qualifying accounts are.

No Opt-In in my app, or even a mention of this draw, so I wonder if I have already opted-in and just forgotten about it, if more than a few days ago lol

When I said each solo current account, I meant to say each party logs into their Santander app and opts in, rather than that each account has to be opted in. I've amended the post now.

It should be in the "Products & Offers" menu at the bottom. Click on the "Offers" tab at the top. Make sure you have the latest version of the app.

If you don't have a Santander credit card yet: they are currently offering £30 cashback via TCB for a no-fee card with potentially attractive cashback. For many people, there are better credit cards about, but the TCB cashback and the extra entry in the prize draw make it attractive. Pay it off in full each month, obvs
