The V5C for Motability vehicles has the qualifying hirer's name and address as the registered keeper, even if they don't drive.

Not strictly true, it's down to who the person/company registering the car is V5 simply says " not proof of ownership"
Yet my V5 is in my name & I own the car🤷♀️

only because you are both the owner and the registered keeper.
my brother in law was the owner of the car but my sister was on the V5 as she was the register keeper and driver.0 -
It'd have tax exemption that'd need a change of status to buy. Technically you can get the same without Motability but it's likely pretty rare.
