In same way as lots have changed since my post late July, Freephase rates will likely look completely different tomorrow., Freephase Dynamic tends to be cheaper than current tracker version, Freephase Static offers certainty. with no exit fee if signed up to EDF reward scheme Flextras.
Not sure what FF rates you quote — todays Dynamic rates Yorkshire region

Octopus is currently 25.10p (for me) on tracker.
The "currently" in that statement is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
Here's Energy Stats' chart of recent average Tracker prices:
It's been above 30p for seven of the past fourteen days.

Ahh, mine is from the East Midlands.
I see the quote I was given won't actually be today's rates.
The issue is the solar as that really skews my data as when it's fairly bright to sunny, we get free electric all day anyway.
Just a shame our battery can't keep up with our electric shower, so it outputs what it can and usually pulls around 50% of power needs from the grid.
Might switch to their Dynamic FF (even though it's slightly more expensive for gas), and see how I get on. I wonder if the potential more expensive winter will balance out in the summer, but again, solar/battery skews this massively!

"Might switch to their Dynamic FF (even though it's slightly more expensive for gas")
No obligation to switch gas to EDF, even if you use a friend referral applies to E only as well as dual fuel switch.

Remember you don't need to have the same supplier for both gas and electricity. You could leave your gas where it is and only switch your electricity to FF. Or you could move your gas to an entirely different supplier.

Is the "FF" here referring to the EDF FreePhase tariff(s)?
If so perhaps "FP" is the better abbreviation.
