Busy doing nothing wasting the whole day through .... actually I haven't stopped since my last post but not sure what I have really done.

    Feed the birds
    DW emptied
WM emptied, put on airere to dry, next lot in to go on the line
Made scones, kids demolishing them at the moment
    Washed up.

I think one of our cats has a sore throat/mouth. He loves his food but today everytime he takes a bite he jumps back from the bowl like it is hot or has stung him. It is quite funny cause he looks at the food as if to say 'why did you do that' and then tries again. Will see how he goes over the weekend.

Right going to sort out some envelops and have another cuppa. Waiting for the sun to move round onto where the tree is to cut it up.

    Morning everyone,

Dustykitten that made me laugh about your cat.

Rach glad your birthday turned out good.

No snow here this morning but plenty of frost, i hate frost so no leaveing the house for me.

Today i'm gonna get rid of the mould in the hall, bathroom and bedroom. Think i'm gonna get a dehumidifier on monday to try and dry out the bedroom. The water just runs down the walls:eek: .

Toyroom has to be done today, gonna get the kids to help [strike]through blackmail[/strike] because their such helpful kids.

Now :coffee: first, anyone want one??

But you've got the love I need to see me through.

OK, I got up at 9.30ish... the kids had been up since 8... am I a bad mother? DS2 is only 2!!! :o But I had a really really great sleep woke up all soft and cosy *sighs*.

I have no plans for today, was going to take the car and get fuel and go to the butchers but I am dizzy again so will just stay in.

DS1 has a friend it but I'm hoping that in a wee 10mins I can put DS2 for a nap and hunt DS1 and friend outside to play.

Will make a list up as I go along. Just a general tidy up I'm feeling way too snuggly to do anything constructive!

    Afternoon all

lil_me - this is what we had yesterday :

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7184617.stm

Today is sunshine and blue skies but it was icy first thing.

Two loads of washing done AND HUNG ON THE LINE!!!

DD's new mattress was delivered and we've remade her bed (she's at work all day).

I made home-made oven chips today and they were nice so I'll do that again. The last few lots of frozen ones haven't been very good.

DH just taken dog out, when he gets back we've got some stuff to catch up with on video.

Not much flying going on, but keeping things tidy and washed up etc.

    Hiya
Just finished work. It's the first Saturday afternoon i've had off in years but i'm going to start having two half saturday's off a month so i'd better get used to it.

    Small list for the weekend;
    1) Sort out WM
    2) Dry clothes for 10 mins then hang up
    3) Do another load of washing
    4) S/S all rooms to try and keep mess at a minimum over the weekend
    5) Walk the dog

That's it for today. Hope you're all having a good weekend xx
    January budget
    Nothing left!

I've been really lazy today, mostly on the pc but I took time out to get washed and dressed (eventually!) and just spent about an hour talking with hubby when he got in from work and drinking honey and lemon (we feel a bit fluey today - on top of a long lasting cold). I make mine with bottled lemon juice, lemon essential oil and good honey. Feels like antibiotics in a mug :)

Will knuckle down and do some more bedside sorting today, but I have other things to do too so will make a short list:
    • vacuum kitchen and living room and hall/stairs/landing plus bathroom (not detailed clean though)
    • put away clean laundry and hang out wet on dryer by heater (re-rinse work shirts first cos creases set in)
    • Sort out bedside drawer and space below full of notebooks etc
    • Wash dishes from last night and this morning/lunch
    • Put more ebay stuff away in bathroom cupboard
    • go to shops to buy chocolate for birthday cake and milk, maybe other bits (check supplies first)
OK that little lot will do for one day - might end up not getting the vacuuming done but it does need it. I haven't done any since last weekend when I took the 6ft wide tree down and had to clean up needles (yes it was hugely wide and but only 5'9" tall! Bought it wrapped in netting with no clue as to how lush it was going to be, and a non dropping one so looked gorgeous the day I took it down, apart from the needles that it DID manage to lose lol).

Going to try and cook from storecupboard supplies this week as far as possible, will still need milk and top up veggies and fruit. Tonight is Pasta Napolitana and tomorrow is Vegetable Casserole with Dumplings. Monday is daughter's birthday and she wants either to go to the Pizza cafe or get a takeaway one from there but seems to want to eat at home so that we can do the birthday cake in privacy, which will save loads of money cos not paying for additional drinks at restaurant prices (or their desserts!) and all she wants is a can of squirty cream so she can make restaurant style hot chocolate! Good though cos her birthday main present has cost us a small fortune!

Hope everyone is feeling ok today, hugs to all who aren't or who just need a hug and bit of support (( HUG )) grouphug.gif
