Just updating while I am here about to put dinner on.. I've brrken another nail so it is a good job I made the Wednesday appointment.. I can barely type!! lol.. Good job I located the half that broke off so I can glue it together until then!!

I have just about got the boys room sorted.. we have done 2 HHC's.. filled 2 more binbags of rubbish and I m so evil I made the girls pick up the clothes off their bedroom floor..

The boys room and landing are now vacuumed and I moved the boys PC to expose the radiator again and also clear the doorway a bit.. it looks so much nicer in there now!.

I've done an hour in my room so it is now completely trashed.. but I go the chest of drawers from the middle of the floro so that is one bonus.

Food on then cos I am starving!! If I could afford a chinese I'd have one of those too!! lol

Had a good rumble through with the vacc this morning and put some washing to dry before I went and fetched my very depressed friend. I ended up driving him to Durham for some lunch as there was too many places he didn't want to be in Newcastle. Poor lad, I really felt for him. Then I made my phonecall to Mr Messy which was sad but neccessary and rang my Mum for a blub and a phone hug.
All things start from here now so you'll have to put up with my company on a regular basis again.

I only threatened to come up lol. Well done for being strong enough to do the necessary before it got to critical... and (((hugs))) .. I'm sure you'l find someone else that is less messy!! lol.

We like your company.. that's why we wanted you back!!!

    I am starving..

    Off for food.. right now!!

Well the cooking is finished and the feeding of the 5000 and i have opened a bottle of wine. I have to write my thank you letters and send the invites out for the hen weekend tonight. Ok, I did nothing yesterday bar a quick hoover and some washing.
So let's look at Friday and Saturday and see if I've achieved anything, LOL.

Flipping Friday!! - those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
[STRIKE] Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself! Anything you like. [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE] Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc for at least 10 minutes
Dusting, all those shelves and flat surfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattress, replace with fresh linen
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season (do they need anything replacing?)
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors (yes including the handles) [/STRIKE]
    Extra Task List

    * Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw
    * Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames
    * Hotspot cleaning, spend 10 minutes tackling one at least
    *
[STRIKE]Grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house. Can be rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend/freecycle
    [/STRIKE]
Don't forget your ME time this weekend go on you deserve it.

If you want some extra things to do over the weekend I'll be back tomorrow evening with a delightful weekend list, when I can think of things to include.

For those crazy people who want extra things to do, you could try one of these

    1. Complete level 3 in any 1 room that you didn't manage to do through the week
    2. [STRIKE] Move a piece of furniture which hasn't been moved for ages, clean behind and under it (please do not do this if you will hurt yourself or you are pregnant! No injuries please!!)[/STRIKE]
    3. Clean a set of curtains/nets or blinds
[STRIKE] Finish putting away any Christmas things still out, decorations, baking things etc etc
    Clean 1 or more windows
    [/STRIKE]
    1. 30 minutes ironing, if you iron of course :)
    2. Deep clean the fridge, drag everything out, clean it out & wipe what is going back in.
    3. Spend 15 minutes tackling a cupboard/storage area you have been avoiding dealing with
    4. 15 minutes paperwork clearing, sort it and file it or fling it
    [STRIKE]
    1. Give everyone at home a bag to collect the things which belong to them that are not where they should be, give them 15 minutes to find them all and put them away :D You could threaten to bin whatever is left if they don't seeing as everyones being quite ruthless this week :rotfl:
    [/STRIKE]

    In addition:
Stripped 2 other beds and re-made them (oh, actually 3 including DD's "baby's" cot, LOL)
    4 loads of washing
    Had a lie-in :)

Tonight, I "may" tackle the ironing ... I "may" tackle a bottle of wine, decisions decisions ;)

aimee - i had my hen do in london at a great restaurant where they train people from disadvantaged backgrounds to be chefs / do all kind of restaurant jobs (a bit like jamie oliver's place). it was really great. just wondering if there might be something similar in Cardiff.

OK, sweet potato curry for me and whoever else wants it... so that means me. Kids said it was yucky and they wanted cereal. So they are now happily munching cereal.

OH finishes at 6pm and is then off out to his brothers.

So, me, myself and I tonight. Lovely.

making parsnip crisps a'la'asda magazine. I love parsnips.
