I am in for the first time since K born in Sept! The older two are back to school/preschool on Tues (thank goodness) but am going to try and do it properly from tomorrow. But I need to buy a mop first so instead of doing the floor in kitchen tomorrow I am going to go to Asda and try to buy one (and maybe use it too  ).
Had a rotten day today due to a fab night last night - belated Xmas do with a load of friends. We had a midnight curfew yet I still managed to have a raging hangover today. Been so grumpy.
So here's my list for tomorrow:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
Clean floors in these rooms - BUY A MOP!
Level Two
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Level Three
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Extra Mission:- Check the fridge contents, anything that has gone fuzzy? Anything you can use in this weeks meal plan? Anything leaking that needs wiping?
- Do a meal plan! Got lots in so should be easy enough for rest of week. And decide on a day to do the regular shopping now that schedule all changed with DS starting full time school
Empty DW
Breakfast and clear up
Load washer and put on
Make lunches and get swimming gear ready
DD1 to swimming
Put stuff from washer into TD / airing cupboard
Put TD stuff away
Do 15 mins ironing
Lunch and clear up
Dinner and clear up
Load DW and put on
Make packed lunches for tomorrow
Other:
Post 3 parcels and overseas letter
Write Xmas thankyous
Get DS to write some cards
Write birthday card for party on coming weekend

Hello all!
Just wrote an incredibly long, Eeyore-ish post about DH having no job, being worried etc, then computer shut itself down which I am taking as a sign to stop whinging and start doing! As of tomorrow morning, I am putting every sale-worthy item in this house on ebay to generate some cash. I was saving it all to get Freya a cot, but she'll just have to stay in our bed a little longer!
Welcome to all newbies. Fly high and happy!
If anyone has an amazing idea as to how DH and I can work from home and start generating cash as of now, that'd be great, but no worries if not.
Take care all, will be back in to report all flying/ebaying progress as soon as poss.
Giving myself a massive kick up the backside! xxx0 -
Wow.. I go out for a couple of hours and I am missed!!! How lovely.. (((hugs))) I may just stay!!
I am in this week.. but I can't do a thing tomorrow as grubs still home.. and I have someone coming at half twelve.. and the TD fixer-man coming after lunch..
The pantomime was FABBY!!! I do love them.. we have high school musical here in May so I am saving up to take DD3.. she will absolutely love it.. just me and her.. she hasn't really ever had an outing just us so it will be nice.. she is 7 after all!!
CONGRATULATIONS AUNTIE SOLWAY!!!
Lil_me.. my boys were really bad earlier so I will be delighted to see the back of them on Tuesday.. though I think we will have to get up at 6am to get Tiddles ready for nursery in time!! .. She has officially been kicked out of the buggy so will be walking there and back.. and I will for the first time in 16.5 years not have a pushchair in the house come the summer!!!!!!! She is having her cot out down into a bed once I get time as well which will mean she will be out of nappies for bed too.. I would have done it sooner if I weren't quite so bone idle.
Back later anyway as hubby is breathing down my neck to watch geeky films!!
xxxxxxxx

((Hugs)) windowshopper, its horrible having pets put to sleep. Even when you know its the right thing to do. Will anyone join me in a Baileys? Hoping it will make me feel better, but i doubt it:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Maralum, big hugs, you're allowed a moan if you need one, I call it 'venting' can I suggest that if you're not bothered about second hand ones maybe putting a wanted advert on freecycle for a cot, my friend has mine or I would have brought you that. Jobs wise have you tried www.fish4jobs.co.uk etc ? Home working, we've had several people setting up businesses near me locally, some doing pet care (inc working at other peoples home when they are away, dog walking etc I was shocked how much they are managing to charge but people are willing to pay who want a pet but work etc) ironing services (most are moving into own premises as it's been so busy) then there is childminding ones etc too.

I really hope something comes along soon for you all. My partner when out of work started being a taxi driver, I can be honest now and say it was probably the best thing he ever did even if it wasn't his first choice (He's got ONC, HNC etc in engineering and was an experienced mechanic) some things which work out well happen by accident when you're desperate. He now picks his own hours, works when he likes basically and earns more than those he studied with for less hours.
Pigpen great to hear the panto went well, I really am annoyed that the bugs stopped us from goingI know what you mean about the boys, we'd not mentioned when they were going back knowing the mood would change but then yesterday his new taxi driver came to introduce herself and that started it basically. I have sent him out of the room several times to put space between us today. Think I'd scream if they were off another day
maybe one but not both. They've had enough of each other now. Good luck with the getting little one to nursery, poor little one will need her doormouse nap when she gets home :rotfl:she likes her sleep doesn't she, maybe they'll let her snooze at nursery, my DS2 they even made him a bed at nursery when he was on full days, waking him up to take him home was a nightmare.
One day I might be more organised...........

G&B that won't make you feel better and well you know it. I'm off to bed as my hands are too cold to type - heating goes off at 10pm.
See you all tomorrow x
Maralum - you can usually pick up cots 2nd hand really cheap or even freecycle (then you just have the mattress to get) sorry I don't have one, always borrowed my sister in laws. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks so much all! Will now use the combined power of all of us flyladies to kick some serious money butt!
Thanks for all the links and ideas, it gives me a definite starting point and I now feel much more positive about it. I'll write it all down to show DH tomorrow and see if we can't improve our situation.
Thanks again ladies xxx0 -
