I am shuddering just thinking about our passport dramas BUT whenever I lose anything now the first place I look is down the back of the kitchen drawer :rotfl: :rotfl:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Am I allowed to whine and moan before I go to bed (early night)?
I've come upstairs to the PC and it hit me how incredibly messy our bedroom, bathroom and landing are. We have too many things in boxes, piles of clean laundry, things that need a home or need to go to their proper place. I am overwhelmed. I feel really hopeless, and there are hundreds of things here that I always intend to sell on eBay, but all they end up doing is sitting around in my bedroom and getting moved around when they are in the way. I also have a huge pile of filing that needs putting away. Humph can you tell I feel really deflated and uninspired?
Thinking I should ignore the weekly lists this week and concentrate on doing 15 minute 'Crisis cleaning' sessions ! la Flylady all morning, and concentrate on tidying rather than cleaning. Maybe put up a few auctions too.
It doesn't help that hubby is home from work by lunchtime every day so nothing really gets done after that.
I'm so looking forward to the kids going back tomorrow. For a couple of weeks now I have been having a lie in every day, and enough is enough. I need the school routine again to get me out of bed and moving. So off early I am, in bed before 11 and hopefully up at 7 and no later. Maybe someone can stop me pressing snooze and make me get up!
Thanks for listening, night all xIAAR/IAAMM/MFTMFAQ/IOA6BH0 -

Oh good you will have some homemade stock to take with you when you are in an emergency passport queue:rotfl: :rotfl:The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
witchypoo buy an alarm without a snooze, you know like those old ticktock types! It's the only way! Or just change it/borrow one. I know I am useless for mornings and I get 'immune' to my alarms, so I swap alarm clocks with people, use my phone instead and change the ringer regular etc. Also if you read my other post about a place for anything, it does make sense. What about getting a box for those ebay things then working on listing 10 a week maybe? Set yourself small targets each day, you'll get there honey, you've just hit a little blip and will be back in control in no time. Why don't you start with getting that clean laundry away before it gets dusty? Come on I've got a pile too and will join you in getting it shifted and space cleared (I HATE putting things away, I'm terrible at it and just leave piles everywhere too
) ready to start when you are.
One day I might be more organised...........

I'm in again this week please. Did most of the lists last week so was v. pleased with progress. Took down trees and wreaths yesterday, all bagged up and ready to go back loftwards.
We're down in the cat department to the tune of one as we had to have one put down a couple of days before Christmas. I miss the little chap terribly, but I have noticed a difference in the hoovering.... there's no longer a layer of white hair in the cylinder when I do the spare room and our bedroom (his favourite snoozing spots)... and we can wear black trousers and coats again without getting the lint roller out every 5 mins... every cloud I suppose.
DH is at home on hols this week (while everyone rushes back to work) so I think I'll turn in now in preparation for a productive week... lots of jobs planned.
Sees you later and happy flying.
