Evening all
Well I must be a real flylady now as I wiped the warm oven over as the roast chicken had spat all over, bad tempered little bogger, BEFORE I attempted to do any baking :T :rotfl: .
As well as going to the tip and the other jobs I have also done Thursdays from last week so sparkly bathroom now as well.
OH managed to flood the utility room so have mopped up and cleaned in there. Fault came up on DW so I gets the instruction book out, OH restarts it with me saying what about the water already in there. It'll be alright he says until the water startspouring out the front and sides !!!!! but all clean now.
Currently have muesli slices in ove and Chocolate muffins yet to make before ironing uniforms all for tomorrow.
See ya later
PS congratulations on bceoming a new Aunty SolwayMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

I only went to have a bath - I come back, the new thread's up and 20 posts!
Congratulations Aunty Solway
Lil-me - thanks for the charts - unfortunately I've run out of ink for my printer - might see if I can print them off at work tomorrow!
Had pigpen got something on today? I know she wasn't feeling well yesterday but it's not like her not to appear at all in the day.
I actually found my SC out today - I've only had it about 7 years and used it about twice:o- so at the moment it has some concoction in it which should be nearly ready as I didn't want to put it on overnight or while I was at work seeing as it hasn't been used for so long!
Taurusgb - have you done those passport renewals yet?
Back at work tomorrow and kids are back at school. My school is on an inset day though so there's no kids for me.
Catch up with you all later

I would love to join in, have been at home since last August and seem to spend all day doing something - but nothing to show for it. DH often enquires what I do all day (do you hear my grinding teeth?).
I am kept going with disorganised and chaotic house / endless washing + drying / school runs + after school activities chauffering for 7 year old DD / general fetch, wash, cook and carry at odd hours for 20 year law student DS / 5 month old nutty beardie puppy.
I need structure, then maybe I will have the odd half hour in the day to enjoy the 'leisure' DH thinks I have from 7.30 til 6.30 when he's at work.

I'm going again now

Hi - I am a newbie here:j
I have tried many many times to follow flylady and even got the book and all sorts:o
TBH it was too americanised and also some of it was very patronising.
I like the levels 1 /2 / 3 thing on here - I have the majority of the housework sorted but the deep cleaning of each room never happens - it is all very superficial really (i.e the skirting boards and cupboard tops never get done).
So can I join this week ? The 5 yr old and 4 yr old are back at school tomorrow leaving me the 14 month old to assist with my cleaning duties:rotfl:
It's not paranoia if they really are after you.0 -
Evening all.
Solway how exciting to be an Aunty I am glad all went well and Issac arrived safely.
I'm sure Pigpen was around earlier - bathing the little chimps and complaining about water dripping through the ceiling.
I am in this week but only on basic levels. Reason being I have done all 3 levels this week (bar a couple of bits) so really need to continue clearing the clutter.
Help I've got piles - no not that sort - I am great at moving the clutter, the bedrooms are all clear as are the hall, landing and living room. There are boxes and baskets of stuff to sort in the kitchen/family room/OH office. I need to get these done, please give advise.
Passports Taurus myslef and AnW'sMum both had terrible passport experiences last year - my blood still runs cold. Get them done and get them stored somewhere safe that you remember. All Flyladies report where your passports are and that they are in date by the end of the week!!
I need to do my list so next post will be mine aswell. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Everyone can join in, what you're not allowed to do is try and think you've failed, you pass with flying colours if you just try, if you achieve something (other than chatting all day on here like me
) then that's a bonus. Welcome to the newbies, hope you all enjoy being with us...No Americans in here, well not so far, we do have members from the Netherlands, Australia etc (speaking of which where on earth is Denise!! hope you are ok honey) but no Americans so far.
Add phone and shout at BT to complain to my big list. I haven't had a bill since October, they're taking £24 a month and should be £16.50 (just checked online, says our DD is £16.50 but they've taken £24 since October), the amount we were overcharged is still on the account. If you work for BT please ignore my call tomorrow unless you want to speak to a rather annoyed person.
Passports - I think I am the only one who has one, I think that's out of date too (DPs went out of date 9 years ago) no plans to go abroad so don't need it.
Dusty I would start by organising a 'place' for things. Something my dear Gran said to me once was 'You can't put something away until it has a place' she used to have a cupboard for 'homeless things' and would not move them from there until they had a forever place. Baskets and boxes are handy, finding a permenant home for things is the only way to keep it organised and not have to keep 'moving stuff'. I need to do some rehoming of things, I'm working on a list of the 'things' then writing next to them in my home organiser book where they go. Suppose I also look at the home organiser as if someone had to come in and run my home because I was ill etc as has happened before, it's all in there where to find everything, what the boys eat, school routines etc.One day I might be more organised...........
