Firstly huge thanks to Elizzy for your kind offer of dance kit. It was really really nice of you and much appreciated. Unfortunately they have to have blue leotards and pink everything else (thinks its something to do with the exam requirements - not sure they will stick at it long enough for that though:rolleyes: ). Thanks for the offer of ballet shoes too Pigpen - they are sizes 8 and 10. Will look at those sites you recommended later.
Not much done here except littles fed, washed, dressed (screamed at several times by me), pack up done and walked to school and nursery. I really should crack on but its just not happening today.
I have just had a coffee in the hope that it will jig me up a bit but no such luck. I am having a wallowing day (which I hate), I am starting to think for my sanity I need to get a part-time job, which I already have but is weekends and I am by myself. I really miss talking to people. We moved here 3 1/2 years ago and I just dont seem to have made any friends, there are people who I can chat to if I bump into them but I miss having people to laugh with. Sorry this post should have health warning on "beware this post contains lots of dribble".
Anyway another coffee and should I open that box of finest choccies that MIL gave us for xmas even though DH doesnt really like the fillings and we had earmarked they as a present for someone else??0 -
Morning all.
Chasing my tail already. Had to wash DS3 hair before school as teenie thought it would be a good idea to gel it for him whilst doing his own - it looked awful because it is about 2" long.
Got caught be a chatterbox mum at school - her heart is in the right place but I really didn't need to hear about the cars parked on yellow lines for 30 mintues - not mine I walk, and don't like all the cars round the school but if I wanted to be a traffic warden I'd have the cap to go with it.
Had tea and toast so going to give myself 30 minutes to get my dalies done before I tackle the first of many boxes in the family room.
Witchy thanks for the praise but I am as bad as everybody else - yesterday was a good day - today might not be as I have been putting those boxes off for 6 months I am sure today will be no different.
See you later aligatorsThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Good morning, brrr, frosty here again, nearly ended up on my butt several times on the way to school
DS1 was much better this morning, phew!
Managed to get the dishwasher on first thing with the brekkie dishes to fill it up. Washers on with first load. Sitting room is fairly tidy, I do need to put the library books in a bag and next to the door so I remember to take them, I must remember to find out what time the bus is there. Then just needs a good clean inc the windows, dreaded TV unit etc. Then of course is the conservatory to finish off.
Right, suppose I best get started, another one who's motivation is missing, someones on a motivation stealing mission I think!!! Maralum maybe try the Ebay thread on MSE, I haven't been on there for a while but used to be a lot of threads on courier services etc. D&DD sure the newly revamped kitchen will be even better with the sparkly new cookerwell done at not just putting it off.
One day I might be more organised...........

Seven Rules of Motivation
#1 Set a major goal, but follow a path. The path has mini goals that go in many directions. When you learn to succeed at mini goals, you will be motivated to challenge grand goals.
#2 Finish what you start. A half finished project is of no use to anyone. Quitting is a habit. Develop the habit of finishing self-motivated projects.
#3 Socialize with others of similar interest. Mutual support is motivating. We will develop the attitudes of our five best friends. If they are losers, we will be a loser. If they are winners, we will be a winner. To be a cowboy we must associate with cowboys.

#4 Learn how to learn. Dependency on others for knowledge supports the habit of procrastination. Man has the ability to learn without instructors. In fact, when we learn the art of self-education we will find, if not create, opportunity to find success beyond our wildest dreams.
#5 Harmonize natural talent with interest that motivates. Natural talent creates motivation, motivation creates persistence and persistence gets the job done.
#6 Increase knowledge of subjects that inspires. The more we know about a subject, the more we want to learn about it. A self-propelled upward spiral develops.
#7 Take risk. Failure and bouncing back are elements of motivation. Failure is a learning tool. No one has ever succeeded at anything worthwhile without a string of failures.
Well I think we all got rule 3 covered
Ok ok I'm gone.........
