    Level One
    Vacuum floors in these areas
    Clear anything from the stairs
    Level Two
Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
    Vacuum sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
    Level Three
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup!
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs
    Extra Mission Tasks
Clean windows in these areas and yesterday's windows for me!
    Additional list for me
Pay check for music lessons at school
Find paper work for aromatherapy course in Feb

    Wrap DSs birthday presents
Pay swimming lessons at school for DD
    Deliver cheque to accountant
Talk to DH about how to mend dodgy dyson for Soappie
    Walk dog
    Wash towels
    Pair up socks etc
    Text x 2

Yeah i've just got to wrap presents which i'll do now. Does anyone else notice that the more you do and the more organised you are the more you find you need to do. I start something which leads to something else, then something else, then something else!

I'm going to try and wrap everything by 1115 and then put my feet up for an hour before work. Bliss. My house is looking cleaner than it has in ages.

    Have a fab day xx

I was hoping I was just being more motivated this year but it looks like i've just nicked all your motivation. You're not having it back, you're not!

Soapie - just had a text from DH and his flight has been changed to 1030pm tonight so won't be home till the early hours. If he phones today i'll ask him what we need to do about these dysons. Mmmm, actually think I might phone dyson and ask them as we've got the insurance. I'll be right back xx

Ooooooh Soapie i've done it, i've done it, i've done and not a screw driver in sight! I'll try and explain what I had to do.......

    1) Stand in front of your dyson so the two of you are facing each other.

    2) Look down at the base of the dyson, on the left hand sid (as you face it) and towards the back.

    3) At the back of mine there was a pipe going from the base to the cylinder of the dyson. At the base of this pipe there are two buttons, one at front and one at the back. Mine are purple.

    4) Press these buttons in and the tube comes off. You are left with a square shaped hole in the base of your dyson.

    5) Hold the handle of your dyson where you empty it with your right hand and lift the base by placing your fingers down the hole. The front of the dyson should reconnect.

    6) Place the bit you removed back in.

She said this problem often occurs when it gets blocked and mine was.

Hope this helps with your model of dyson.

Good luck and let me know how you get on xx

  • Hi ladies

First of all thanks for everyone who gave me advice on what to do with dad's sickness and employment law especially hex2, Lil_me and Tia - will have a good look on the benefit thread after I've spoken to Dad and winkled all the exact details from him.

Congrats Solway on your auntihood - one of my best friends gave birth on NYE at 2355 but I haven't seen her or her little boy yet (not until I've shook this chest infection anyway). She's got a bit of the baby blues and had a rough delivery - I've made her a mummy treats hamper but any suggestions on some extras to put in it to cheer her up?

WS100 - sorry to hear about your puss and hope it didn't spoil your Christmas celebrations too much - poor puss cat

Witchypoo - how's the efficient piling system getting on? - any luck with the crisis cleaning? If you find getting up really difficult, I found that a very old old style alarm clock put on the other side of the bedroom on a metal biscuit tin was very good as I knew I'd got to get up before it went off or the OH would kill me laughing-smiley-014.gif

Tia - glad to hear your newly streamlined pup is as bouncy (in most areas) as ever

    Today's list

Vacuum hall stairs and landing (living room done yesterday)
    Dust LR
    Dust hallway
Wipe bannisters and skirting in hall

    Extras

    Clean landing window
    Clean hall mirrors
Some of the ironing? Am I feeling brave?
Shower and wash hair after cleaning - I feel manky
Go to bank to put capital check in
Specsavers to choose my new galsses
Put OH OT check in Lloyds
    Asda for some bits
Look for new work shoes (blurgghhh! Hate shoe shopping!)
Be back at home by 1700 for window measuring apt
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

  • Anyone up for a 30 min challenge at 1130 as you're all being good? Quick :coffee: first

    PS I haven't seen G&B, Shell, embb or AnW's Mum's motivation here either - I think LJD1 must have got everyone's biggrin.gif (mine included) x
