Well, currently my dining room is also my living room, so I mainly got that sortof sorted today which does let me off the hook somewhat for tomorrow, however, as tomorrow I'm theoretically more time-rich (not working, just spending the day with DD, aged 4 .. ) ...I suppose I ought to do something productive, so let's see:

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
    Level One
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must
    Level Two
Dust any areas below eye level
    Level Three
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup!
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
    • Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
    • Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc
    • Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
    • Clean any ornaments, mirrors, clocks or other dust collecting collections
    • Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!
All those look reasonable .. not necessarily gonna happen, but definitely reasonable!

    In addition (or alternatively):

Play French shopping trolley game with DD (gotta be done!)
    DH's company paperwork
Sleep (oh ok, so that's just a dream!)
Make biscuits for DD's playdate on Wed
Tip run for all that cardboard accumulated over Xmas
Charity run for the clothing sorted
DD's fairy princess cape - to be made
Wheat bag for me - to be made - as I am the only person in the whole world who doesn't have one as I made one for everyone else, bar my friend's bump, who I will also make one for .. oh and her partner who's feeling left out (that'd be 3 then!)
Pilates class (just for me then :) ).

    Evening all

Had a full day at work and got home about 5. Managed a quick cuppa before doing the pork chops for tea. Then it was on to flying. Managed to get loads done (for an evening anyway) then collapsed in the chair for over an hour waiting for OH to finish 'playing' on the computer - I then find 8 pages to catch up on from yesterday. Have only just skimmed them so hoping everyones ok , and hi to all the new flyers.

    Here's my list for today

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
[strike]Clean floors in these rooms[/strike] - hoovered cant be bothered to wash but theyre ok
    Level Two
[strike]Clear and clean kitchen surfaces[/strike] - all done and underneath small appliances
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts[/strike] - all done top and bottom
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/strike] - done when shopped on Sunday
[strike]Wipe dining table, polish if required (clean table cloth if necessary)[/strike] - done
    Level Three
[strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike] - bogger, forgot to go round with cobweb brush but dusting done
    [strike]Clean fronts of appliances[/strike] - done
[strike]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky[/strike] - its ok
    Extra Mission:
    Choose one or more of:
    • [strike]Clean inside of fridge[/strike] - done last week so not needed
    • [strike]Clean a window or 2 in these rooms[/strike] - did the kitchen one and scrubbed the aluminium venetian blind
    • [strike]Clean OVEN yes I know you all hate that one wonder how many choose it[/strike] - Nar nar na nar na - did it yesterday, but have scrubbed out the grill/top oven AND the microwave today
    • [strike]Clean tops of kitchen cupboards and high places[/strike] - have been doing this weekly so only needed a quick wipe :D says smugly
    • [strike]Check the fridge contents, anything that has gone fuzzy? Anything you can use in this weeks meal plan? Anything leaking that needs wiping?[/strike] - all checked on Sunday nothing to chuck this week
Woohoo thats it, all done or doesnt need it - I love flying :happyhear

See you all tomorrow but wont get as much done as get in at 5, tea to do then hair appt at 6 !!
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Right, most of the clean and dry laundry is now away, and the rest is drying still - or waiting for the dry stuff to be added before going up to the kids rooms (3 storey house) I'll take it up when it is all done. With luck that will be tomorrow but with no proper heating you just never know.
Dustykitten you are a great example for us all, what with your charity bags, routine that works and do it now principle (re: envelope throwing away) :)
Yay lil_me ta for reporting back :) You ladies made me smile today, thanks for being so kind :grinheart and it really helps to realise everyone has their own version of Mount Washmore as Flylady would put it. Wow, I'm full of Marla-isms today!

After reading the posts about passports last night - I had a bad dream, I was at an airport with daughter, waiting for hubby when I realised I had forgotten the passports. I tried to ring him but could not fathom out the payphone (dream sequence with a code you had to punch in but the code kept changing before you could enter it and a woman kept trying to push in and use the phone I was on) and the mobile would not work in the airport. Then I realised we actually didn't have current passports (I had been thinking this before bed, after reading this thread) and was worrying that we had wasted a thousand quid on flight tickets. I woke up with heart thumping, but it isn't a problem in real life cos we don't plan on going anywhere overseas!

I stayed off the list today, all I did was the dishes and of course meals, bit of sifting through stuff in my bedroom, put some stuff on the bed that should be in wardrobe but was laying over a chair, trouble is it is still on my bed and I have to get in it in a minute! Oh well, hubby has a day off tomorrow and he is going to help get kids off out and do lunches as he does this once a week for me.
    Night all!

    Morning ladies,

Coo, I'm tired this morning - it was a definite effort to get up.... But I'm bathed, sandwiches half made, stew out of fridge ready to be switched on as I walk out the door.

    My tasks for today:

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs

    Level One
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
[STRIKE]Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must[/STRIKE] N/A - no stairs!
    Level Two
Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
    Level Three
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup!
[STRIKE] Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe[/STRIKE] N/A no stairs
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
    • Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?

    • Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!
    I also need to
    • Order some postal tubes online - Staples didn't do them in bulk and the single price was ridiculous
    • Phone vet to get vaccination appointment
    • Boil beetroot for sandwiches
    • Get ham out of freezer to defrost ready to cook tomorrow night
    • Work out what to do with the Dyson
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
