£10 e voucher for getting Yorkshire Building Society App - newbies only

Mine was invite but when I downloaded the app and installed it and logged in didn't mention anything about the £10 voucher promised. I have secure messaged them asking about it.

As you have downloaded, registered, and logged into the App for the first time, you are now eligible for the £10.00 e-voucher. 
This voucher will be emailed to you automatically within 3 working days of 6th August, and this will be a generic voucher which can be used at over 200 stores.

I dont have any YBS product, can I just open easy access saver through online banking > deposit and then register for app? or dont need any of their product and I can just register for the app without having to open any account?

According to the app blurb, to use the app you'll need:

• A YBS savings or mortgage account
• To be registered for online banking
• To be aged 16 or over.

App does mention the free £10 for first signup.

If you are not already a Yorkshire Building Society customer the £10 is reasonable incentive to register and open an account, deposit £1 and be ready to benefit from a new savings product. They have offered good accounts in the past although their present offerings could be a lot better. Along with £1 in an account to keep a presence for loyalty products I have only the £50 @8% RS NLA account.
