How do I make an "interactive" PDF - NON-interactive ?
I have tried "printing it TO" my desktop - but this doesn't make any difference - it is STILL editable (interactive) - there must be a way ?

Seems you have already tried the Adobe solution?
Are you on Windows? Probably won't help you, but when I do this on Linux it definitely removed any interactive elements.
