    - which can be a tedious process.

If it's tedious stop doing it - I do it cos I enjoy it. ;)

It takes time - yes, but every win is something I wouldn't normally have. If you're not in you can't win.

The odds aren't good, unless you hit lucky and bump them. Most people here(I think) are in it for fun and the odd reward!

    :)

I've been a member for what seems like forever. I've joined again after a few months off (poorly) and enter every (and I mean every) comp going. . . have yet to win anything !!!!!
  • fluffynit - I'm lovin your dancing smiley :D:D:D

i pretty much just enter what I'd appreciate getting or what I know others would appreciate (e.g. I'm staying at my mums right now and she's a garden addict, so all those garden gear comps I enter for her cos she'd love them). also, some holiday comps where you get either the hotel paid for or the flights paid for but not both- I know it puts a lot of people off entering, but if I could get one bit paid for, I could justify/afford the cost of the rest.

as has been noted - its not worth working out an 'hourly rate' esp. when a lot of comps involved prizes which have no easily ascertainable value ( e.g. special t-shirts or other memorabilia linked to a movie or summat).

I just like the feeling of having random stuff periodically turn up - be it a comp win, or a freebie, or whatever. I alway have (used to write to footballers for autographs as a kid, lol). and as an 'addiciton' its one of the few such addictions where you actually do gain rather than lose out.
