Halifax Reg Saver 8% - no idea where to open one !

I am finding this process a bit painful too.
I am a Lloyds current account customer and have a Lloyds club regular saver. So I accept I can't open the Lloyds version of the monthly saver.
Also have a Halifax current account and have logged in using my Halifax login - and renewed by monthly saver which I opened more than a year ago (it had a nil balance). But the 8% Halifax monthly saver still doesn't appear as an option to open on the list of savings accounts available to me when I click on any options including the instant access/regular saver option.
Perhaps its just me? I am trying this via the desktop and the app version?

If you tried it today, wait a few hours or overnight - then try again.

I have never had to wait for the next day with Halifax but I always had to log out and in again to be able to apply for the next RS after I had renewed the old one.

If you are a Club Lloyds customer then you can have both the standard monthly saver and the club monthly saver as they are different products with different eligibility criteria.

not anymore, recently changed to only one regular saver allowed.

Just checked and you are correct. They are both now £250 pm accounts whereas the old club was £400 pm. What is the point of running two now identical products but with different names when you can only have either one of them ? Will leave them alone as don't want to risk losing the £400 pm at 6.25%. Once again the blurb on the products differs from the T&C.
Just waiting for BOS to clear the closed account off so I can open the new one.

Absolutely, hardly any point in having a Club Lloyds account anymore. I've no idea what their thinking was. Also I don't want or need my Halifax and BOS accounts available on the Lloyds system.

I get six free Vue cinema tickets - with Club Lloyds. Worth c£75 a year to me.
Of course with the Halifax rewards you could get 1 a month until last October!

For the Halifax RS, you don't have to wait overnight. Just log out and log back in again to see the 8%er.
It's only BoS which seems to need an overnight pause.
