i have over £4000 on one card and cannot find a card to transfer wholw balance over to one card.... what shall i do spilt it on two cards ???:o

If you can find or already have the 2 cards then why not .
  • Yesterday I completed a balance transfer as my previous 0% offer was coming to an end. The offer on the new card is 2.95% for 2 years.

In today's post I've had a mailshot about a new 0% offer on the original card, available until 1 July. Can I transfer straight back or is there a minimum period I have to be on the 2.95% offer? I can't find anything in the small print to prevent me changing straight back?

  • Hi guys, I'm new so I hope I'm using the forum correctly!

I have a credit card with Mint that I have had for years, I'm looking to finally start paying it off however, I've tried applying for different cards in my name but I think a few black marks while I was at uni has affected my rating.

My husband can get a credit card but the credit limit is only £500 and my old credit card has a balance of £1200, is there any possible way to transfer SOME of the £1200 balance or can anyone recommend another solution? The interest I am paying on my old card is terrible and I grudge the amount of interest I am paying!

Dont see why not so long as the cards are not " owned" by the same company... you will incur fees of course so you need to take that in to account.

Virgin \ MBNA have superbalance tfrs to bank account, so can transfer cash out then pay that back (that way only one set of transfer fees)... so as longs as sufficient CL to cover the period of 2 transfers on the account..
