Thanks. He had a look at his phone and then said £20. I had a problem getting on to this site just now. But I did know the password and it worked. My emails on my mobile will not open for me. I am on the AOL site and it has got info but it just won't open the emails. I check then quite often on my phone. It is a Samsung phone. Any ideas ?? I do appreciate the help from people on this site

Are you using the new password for AOL as you said the person changed them for you?

On your mobile does the password auto fill in the details as it maybe remembering the old password?

The computer shop seems very reasonably priced. I would recommend that you take both devices to him and explain your ongoing issues.

One thing he can do is set up both devices so that you don’t need to enter passwords. The computer and phone can remember them for you and keep them secure. That’s what I have done, and it works very well.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Thanks for your advice. I bought a new phone a couple of years ago. It was Samsung and I was in a muddle. I took it to him and he sorted it all out for me while I was there. I can't remember how much he charged me but it was reasonable.

Oh yes and I am using the new password. It opens on AOL and I am signed on using the new password. It just won't open up the emails. I can open then up on my laptop. Thanks again Sue

Thanks again. I am so stupid. It asked for pin no and only now am I realising that I need to put in the pin for my phone. Did that and the problem is solved. I am hoping now that all is well. I just felt I was way out of my depth. I want to thank all of you for advice again. I think you are all wonderful Sue
