    We don't need to discuss next steps on individual threads and I am always surprised when people ask, given newbies must know where the 8 steps are, if they've defended!

    What to expect is of course fully covered in:

    • the 8 steps you are following in the Template Defence thread (where you learned how to do AOS and defend) and we will not link it;

    then

    • when it gets past the pointless one minute mediation phone call stage, read the NEWBIES thread post 2 about witness statement & evidence stage (and about hearing tips) because defence wasn't your only job.

    Observation - the NtK and signs posted on page 1 state the charge is £100 and the PoC state includes £70 recovery costs but the claim is for £160.

    The NTK on page 1 relates to a June 2026 parking event, whilst the claim form refers to a January 2025 parking event.

    hi guys,

    I hope you are all well, I have received a “ Notoce of Proposed allocation to the small claims track” which is attached in this post.

    I don’t know what it means and how to deal with it, could you please advise how to respond to this notice. Thanks.

    This is in the 8 steps you're following and/or it's mentioned in the NEWBIES FAQS thread post 2 under the shouty red capitals heading: IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN.

    Those steps are there to keep us regulars available for when you really need us, by giving everyone step-by-step information and stopping us from drowning in questions about bog standard letters & stages.

    As I said on July 23rd:

    We don't need to discuss next steps on individual threads.

    What to expect is of course fully covered in:

    • the 8 steps you are following in the Template Defence thread (where you learned how to do AOS and defend) and we will not link it;

    So, have you downloaded the N180 pdf document from the government website, filled it in, saved as a pdf and emailed it to the DQ email address in those 8 steps yet. ?

    no, I haven’t done that yet, as per advise from you guys I should go back to the newbie post to find what to do, and I have not done that yet as it’s difficult for me to navigate through this forum to be honest, that’s why I seeked advise when by posted the letter.

    Also today I received a letter from the law firm of the claimant asking to settle it before proceedings and a copy of his part of agreement to go to small claim court.

    You guys know these things and it’s just like a piece of peanut to you, where I have no clue how to deal with, I do appreciate all the effort you are making in helping me out.

    So you are saying I should download and say yes to small claim track?

    I am saying FOLLOW THE 8 STEPS in the DEFENCE TEMPLATE THREAD in announcements near the top of the forum, not the newbies sticky thread !
