I've not been to Greece in almost 30 years, it does sound a bit different using a bin rather than flushing but you do get used to it. Don't flush in little bits, I know I didn't always remember but I wouldn't purposely chance blocking the toilet.

You could always take nappy sacks to put the paper in.

I remember Greece being beautiful and the food fantastic, try not to let the toilet paper issue put you off missing out on Greece

Yes, I believe Cyprus is one. I wasn't aware of Portugal. We're going there next year, so I'll have to check before we go.

You could be the cause of blocking the drains of the whole accommodation.

Yes you can change your holiday.

We've just amended next year holiday date and airport.

ah ok yes I did book and its now too late to change, so i'll go with it, and hopefully wont have too bad a stomach on holiday

depending on how it goes could influence where i go next time

my other options were majorca, ibiza, lanzarote, tenerife , morocco, tunisia etc

im sure it will be fine and a nice resort so will just enjoy it and learn from it at the same time, for what i want in a future trip, you dont know til you try places i guess
