Print SMS from 2g mobile.
My FIL has an old Nokia 2g mobile that he uses and is happy with it.
He has Parkinson's and doesn't use it that much as he's more or less housebound.
Hi GP sends him SMS about appointments and medical stuff but he has a sms about a memory clinic cancellation and needs to show the Parkinson's nurse this txt as she wants to follow up why it was cancelled.
Is there a way of printing this and maybe some more SMS so the nurse can have a hard copy?
I know you can forward it but if sent to a smartphone can it then be printed out?
Thanks

If it can be sent to a smartphone it can be printed.
Depends on the operating system.
Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
Just show phone to nurse, they can then take the details they require.
Does the clinic not have access to the doctors notes?

I have just sorted it I think.
He sent it forwarded the SMS to me but I then "shared" it to my email and printed it off.
It didn't include all the details but the main text which will do.
Thank you.

The screen only has 4 lines of txt so bit hard to read all of it.
No the clinic doesn't have access to his notes but I don't know if txt messages would be on his notes anyway but they may.
I have sorted it now but thanks for taking the time to give me advice.

If you are on Android @Boohoo you can use this on a computer to read and print your texts. Will save you forwarding potentially confidential material to your e-mail.

I'm sure iPhone will have something similar.

Thanks for this info.
I have android mobile but FIL has a 20 year old Nokia but he only uses it for emergencies when he used to go out and he could use it to make calls and read SMS but now he struggles to make calls and a smartphone is from another planet to him.

Understood! I was thinking it might be easier for you (to save you forwarding onto mail). With this you could print the forwarded SMS directly.
