Chemo today, always feel a bit buzzy from the steroids but it all went smoothly. There was chatter about delaying it as my bloods were borderline, but they scraped the minimum so it went ahead. One more to go (early September), can’t wait for this phase to be over.
Money wise, we’re doing well. If anything we’re a bit ahead because the whole of our holiday expenses came out of the holiday fund. £1000 to last until the 24th, anything left will be saved.

One thing I’ve noticed since diagnosis is how much cancer is around… I know that sounds stupid, but it didn’t really register it as much before. I saw yesterday about Lucy D@vis and that she was stage 4 at diagnosis. I can’t even imagine what that would be like, getting a stage 2 diagnosis was bad enough.
The number of films/tv shows that feature a parent dying of cancer too 🙈 my kids find that hard

Ugh, the chemo hangover is real. I’m nearing the end of treatment and I think the body has had enough 😂. I always get up, showered and dressed as usual. Eat something my stomach says it will tolerate and then go for a walk. Went out at 7am today as it’s supposed to get up to 36 today 🤢
I’ve booked DD into pottery painting with a friend today and booked my youngest 2 tickets to watch mini0ns at the cinema. They’re close together and have booked similar times, so they can walk together. There’s a McD nearby so I’ll give them cash for that too. For all 4 (I always pay for friends if we’ve invited), will come to about £75. Will come out of the entertainment pot. Apart from the 10 min walk there and back, everything will be air conditioned 😎
