A new tool for monitoring house price falls

Well. This new add on has been withdrawn. The creator says that a new one is being worked on and that it has not been withdrawn because of complaints. It looks like a server capacity issue if taken at face value.
Shame though.0 -

Here's what I wrote;Sorry but I've disabled this add-in so it no longer collects or displays any information. This is not due to a complaint from any website, but on my own decision
I am in the process of developing a new version of the add-in, which will store data locally rather than on a server and hope this is more likely to meet the terms and conditions of various websites and allow the add-in (and any information it provides) to survive any possible future complaints
I suggest you uninstall the 'RM Helper 0.1' add-in (in Firefox, go to Tools > Add-ins. Select 'RM Helper 0.1' and click Uninstall), since it will no longer work.
Once my host provider has restored the server after a disk failure today (talk about great timing!), https://www.property-tools.co.uk should be back on-line, and I will post updates on the current situation, ideas, and time-scales.
Sorry again about this down-time, but it's for a good reason and the add-in will be back as soon as possible.
I would like to add;
I'm still amazed that it got such a positive response for what was really a "proof of concept" hacked together bit of code, but was overwhelmed when about 1000 people downloaded it and within 3 days probably covered most of the properties for sale in the country.
However after the problems that sites who provided similar information in the past experienced, it focuses the mind on the non technical aspects of the situation, and the reason to pull the add-in were purely mine.
I did this because I do want it to survive in the long-term, and not because of any pressure from other parties.
Thanks for your support and rest assured we will be back up running soon.
Cheers

Yes, I downloaded it at 2am last night (how sad) and went through a load of places/towns/counties.
It's different. I prefer the layout it was before, but no doubt now the core functionality is there, the layout/display can be amended easily enough if deemed an appropriate spend of time.
