Beerhunter, I'm IN NO WAY accusing you of anything, but wonder if you can show us how to see the source code of the addon, I used to be a progammer years ago and I'm sure some other folk on here have programming skills.

Or am I worrying about nothing? - can anyone who's knowlageable about firefox scripting comment on the security implications of installing Addons?

    Thanks!

Sometimes you just have to trust people you know. Otherwise how will you enjoy life.

If I'd written it I'd be thinking "cheeky c***, don't use it then" :)

What a brilliant idea, - works like a dream.

Will the previous prices be lost if I clear my local cache?
  • Really good.

Just going to keep looking for this one to be reduced a bit :)

no, the previous prices are all held remotely, there's no data held in local cache or cookies. It's why people can benefit from the 10k+ properties I've fed into the system in 3 cities.
    It's a health benefit ...
  • I won't be installing Firefox but the tool sounds great.

I expect RM will close this loophole if it proves very popular and damaging to RM's business (if it works as I suspect, I could fix it quite easily).

    :)

I offered them £10k under the asking as it could do with another bathroom or two. They weren't interested. ;)

    According to this article http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/news/article.html?in_article_id=398600&in_page_id=2
the property is mortgaged and costing 2.5 million a year, in the current climate of falling house prices I'd be pretty keen to get shot of this. Also that article was written back in 2005 imagine the payment shock of interest rates going up on a loan of that size.

When I went on RM tonight loads of houses were listed as POA. It seemed that only 1 in every 5 houses had an actual price. Before today POA was very rare in my area. Is this RM's way of preventing this 'propertysnake' addition?
