A new tool for monitoring house price falls
Comments
-
I just did that and it came up with 5.search on ng15 price between 100k -110k and you should see 3 reductions from 3k to 10k reductions
It's a much more useful tool than PS. Although PS was good, this is directly where you're searching and not on a separate site with a click through necessary to track it down0 -

only 3 unique reductions though
there's 5 in total, but 2 properties are listed twice with different agents ( an interesting sign in itself)
but at least you've proved it's working
I will have all of nottingham's 8335 properties on the market in it, by the end of tonight

Still, it's jolly good fun.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
Yes, there will be an update very soon.
Since it's been a very busy few days, I'm putting off moving servers until tomorrow evening and during this period the add-in will not work.
Once I've moved everything across to a new server, you will need to manually install a new version, hopefully after this the add-in will automatically updated as new versions become available.

It's the future of fun.

It's ace - added a small chunk of Leeds and east London to it.0

That's a reallt nicely designed peice of software:T
Its obviosly catching on, I live in a smallish village yet someone had already added all of the properties (yesterday).
EDIT - I've given this a bit more thought, actually something like this COULD (and I'm stressing could) be a security concern. Surely if one wanted to one could use an addon such as this to capture all sorts of information about the data being passed through the browser (websites visited, personal details, etc?), this is known as phishing.
Beerhunter, I'm IN NO WAY accusing you of anything, but wonder if you can show us how to see the source code of the addon, I used to be a progammer years ago and I'm sure some other folk on here have programming skills.
Or am I worrying about nothing? - can anyone who's knowlageable about firefox scripting comment on the security implications of installing Addons?
Thanks!Mike

Just thought it would be good to keep this on the front page for a while.dolce vita's stock reply templates
#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided
#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now
#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing0 -
Server's going down tonight though for the new version.0
