Okay we are sorted. world war 3 has been avoided. I decided to grab the bull by the b$%^^s and send an email to the CEO of BT/EE. I got a nice phone call from him telling me he was not happy with the way I was treated and offered to canel my contract in full. I will get my last payment of £58.99 refunded back to my bank. I have always had to do battle with companies before and the CEO always gets results.
I have been advised that it would be better (but not nessesary) to use an open reach provider. Talk Talk and Sky are some of them. This makes it a seamless transition to another provider.
So if anyone else has probelems email the CEO it works.

How nice of the CEO to take the time to phone you personally, she must have a terribly deep voice if you thought she was a man.
As if………..

Originally I was given a man's name on a website Marc Allera and an email address marc.allera@ee.co.uk. This email bounced back to me. I then searched again and found a website !!!!!!. This gave a woman Caire Gillies and an email address claire.gillies@ee.co.uk. This email did go through. I thought it was confusing also. So what name do you have? I have done this before with complaints and I have spoken to them. They do talk to you. two weeks ago, I spoke to the CEO of Yorkshire housing and got results
Who do you have as the CEO?
As if………..
This has been sorted.BUT YOU, oldernonethewiser said that had no chance and I could not do anything about it. Who was right then me or you older and definatly none the wiser Won't take any advice from you again.

although there have been examples of the actual CEO or some other very senior manager at BT / EE responding to customer complaints to the ‘CEO’ more often than not, the team employed in ‘executive level complaints’ respond to correspondence aimed at the actual CEO , I dare say that most CEO’s don’t concern themselves with the minutiae of customer complaints and leave it others …

Was it a man or a woman who spoke to you?
What did you think was confusing?
The lady who's email you have written is the CEO of BT Consumer, the CEO of BT/EE is another lady.
At no time did I write that you had no chance.
