So I just lost a case for a private ANPR PCN and not sure what went wrong

A court appointed bailiff can visit your home if they opt to go down that route.

Parking companies involved in bulk litigation do not go down that route. It is under 600 so no HCEO
If this was a different sector attitudes would be different but much the same applies in bulk litigation
The reply above is from a parking company management ( I am not denegrating them for that) (their company does not seem to enforce their own low level judgments this is due to the cost/benefit ratio) and most claims in the same vein as Parking eye/ civil enforcement ltd seem to be single ticket claims
So nothing will happen in this case by PE. You are quite safe ( just ignore the follow up letters)

thank you - chatgpt and another member on this forum is not suggesting the same thing
Although I am inclined to listen to you though because I rather not pay without having to deal with any more real-life consequences

Yes the forum member above is a parking company owner/management
There are zero issues on this other then the credit file issue. A lot of people simply dont care about that. Ovviously if you did id advise to pay up

The £600 threshold is one important milestone indicator in these cases
Also is the difference between can and will, just because they can, doesn't mean they will
A CCJ can affect things to do with various services, phone contracts , credit file, loans or credit cards, possibly insurance etc, just ensure that you have fully researched how one could affect your lifestyle going forward , just in case
Its highly unlikely that a CEO will be involved UNLESS a CCJ is OVER the £600 threshold

Do credit restrictions not bother you? An unsatisfied CCJ is likely to affect mortgage/remortgage applications, the amount of money you can borrow, then potentially with higher levels of interest, can affect some job positions, or job applications, renewing your mobile phone contract can be difficult. Think carefully, an unsatisfied CCJ can cost you significantly more than the amount in your court judgment ….and it drags on for 6 years!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thats the criteria in this one

ofc I do, my credit rating is excellent and I am the sole earner in my household so can’t afford to
Luckily I wasn’t the registered keeper. My mother is who is old and disabled so wouldn’t really matter if she gets a CCJ
luckily all the letters I get from parking companies are also in her name so I suppose I needn’t worry too much?

Spot on then no need to pay a penny

If you are the unknown driver in these cases, then your name is never in the frame unless the RK was to name the actual driver to the issuer of the invoice
