No assumptions, try every upper and lower case character, especially l for Larry and I for Ian etc

With an issue date of 08/04/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 13/04/26 and before or on 27/04/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 11/05/26. The date on the claim form is a bit blurry but assuming it is 08 April, as you can see you are already late if you haven't submitted a defence; I hope you have.

It hasn't been letting me log in at all. I've tried various passwords incase the 'l' in the password was L or I or 1 and none of them have been working. It keeps telling me either my claim number or password is wrong but it isn't. I also tried this before the dead line date and it still wasn't working. I'm not really sure what else I can do? Surely if I can't even log in to log a defence, how can they make a claim against me? I will try calling the court telephone number tomorrow and see if they can advise me.

Its not a court, no court has been allocated yet, its the CNBC in Northampton

Your alternative is to email the documents , You can download the forms from the government website

You can fill in the AOS pdf document and email it to the AOS email address in post 1 in the defence template thread in announcements ( but you are too late for this submission. )

Then, you can add a header and footer to your defence template based defence in WORD or similar, as was done a year ago, this is then saved as a docx, then use SAVE AS and select pdf, to publish it

The defence pdf can be emailed to claimresponses email address in that same post 1 in the defence template thread

So 2 submitted forms by email, checking for the auto response email back from the CNBC for the each submission

In YOUR case you are late so only the defence needs emailing to the CNBC ( too late for the AOS stage. )

No posting, no scans, no paperwork, no MCOL either

Why? You are in a race! You could get a CCJ any minute if the Claimants hit the button. DCB Legal are damn quick at that!

And the CNBC will tell you to email the reply form to what they will tell you is the email address … but they usually give the wrong one!

Do not email the reply form with a defence scrawled on it.

    Don't use forms at all.

Just use the template defence right now (with the Chan & Akande para 3 - it's already written and linked in the Template Defence thread for cases like this, where no specific breach has been stated in the Particulars) pop the whole 10 paragraphs into a Word Doc, add the claim number & the parties' names (not the solicitor firm) and a statement of truth at the end, your signature and the date.

Save as PDF and email it now!

Right thank you so much I will look at the template ASAP.

What is a statement of truth? And what email address am I sending it to, is that in the templates too? Sorry this is all so new to me so I don't really understand any of this.

I'm reading through the template thread and I really don't understand any of this at all 😢 it's so overwhelming.

I think I have done it, but I'm not sure what a statement of truth is? Or where to put the claim number and parties name? And the email address to send it to?

You've now wasted a day and might have a CCJ already.

You only had to search the forum or Google
