The deadline for the AOS completion for the defendant is 19 days from the issue date, ideally on MCOL via your government gateway account

Wow, that could be a tight schedule, if its posted just before we go away for a fortnight. Is there any leeway for a delay, as away on holiday, & if not what is the outcome?

No leeway, the claimant can press a button on MCOL from day 20 onwards to obtain judgment, which is an automatic CCJ by default against you
Hence why I strongly suggest that you have your post checked weekly, with any letter from the CNBC in Northampton opened and pictures sent via WhatsApp or messenger
You can then use your laptop and our help to deal with it and obtain a further 2 weeks before the new 33 days deadline expires

Why don't you just email DCB Legal again a few days before you go, and say you are seeking debt advice, and require the obligatory '30 day hold'?
Do NOT tell them your dates of holiday! Do not mention it at all.

Yes the pre-action protocol requires it if a person is seeking debt advice. You get a 30 day hold.

I have received a lengthy reply from DCBL. There summary is that there is an absence of evidence to support any consideration with their client. If i have any evidence to furnish them with it, within 30 days under the pre action protocol, otherwise county court proceedings will take place.
They want me to telephone their dispute team, to avoid a claim being issued against me.
Im confused about which date they mean, & have'nt received any correspondence from anyone else. What action next would be best?
