Claim Form
Hello all,
I've received the Claim Form from CNBC. I ignored all of PCN letters from them. Now the HM Courts and Tribunals Cervice contacted me with the request to response to the claim.
I'm worried about the seriousness of my situation.
Could you give any advice?
Regards

With an issue date of 13/03/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 18/03/26 and before or on 01/04/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 15/04/26

I completed the AoS yesterday. Is this too late?

Check your MCOL claim history as I mentioned, because they have had almost 2 weeks to obtain a judgment
Use the template defence, alter paragraph 3 to suit, and copy and paste it ASAP into the defence box, save it and submit it , to beat the imminent deadline for submission online
Adapt paragraph 3 from the following case
Let us know when its been submitted, your MCOL claim history will confirm submission

I couldn't find a defence box on MCOL. I sent the Defence via email by the address
The latest update says that the Acknowledgement of Defence is uploaded.

Incorrect email address, it should be claimresponses, the correct email addresses are in the 1st post in the defence template thread in announcements
Secondly, a defence by email should have headers and footers, especially a signed and dated statement of truth in the footer, plus should be a pdf attachment
I fear that you are making mistakes on top of the mistake in not dealing with this promptly
There is definitely a START DEFENCE box on MCOL

You should find the defence box on your claim. If you sent it by email, did you add a statement of truth? You have used the old/incorrect email address, it is now: -
ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk
