Yes it was foolish. I don't deny.
Car Park was practically empty and I went far from other cars. But I was over the line
Do I have any chance to appeal at all?
Cheers

Just ignore UKPC. NO PAYING THEM.
There's no 'appeal' worth trying unless their signs are all broken/dirty or maybe no entrance sign?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.3 -

The penultimate paragraph is separate from the one above, so if you glance straight down to that one, you'd be misled into believing that they can just 'get' a Warrant of Control and engage the Court bailiff now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A debt collector's letter.

Thanks. That's how I read it, basically stay silent.1

Totally out of context to suggest that all parking charges are 'enforceable' but for useless debt crawlers (run by an ex-Roxburghe director, a company banned from a debt recovery licence by the Office of Fair Trading years ago) not to even be able to spell Beavis is just the icing on the cake.
This letter chain will be shown to the MHCLG. This rubbish isn't something worthwhile or to be funded by motorists paying more than the PCN for 'debt resolution' which is nothing of the sort.
What debt 'resolution' is it then? What has the consumer gained by the PCN being inflated? Or is it an 'admin fee' (top right?). Who knows, who cares, the added 'extortion' will be banned I'm sure. It would be madness not to.
Absolute joke letters, both of them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
