2026/2027 transferring a cash ISA from Trading 212 to another provider

Given that a lot of the point of the MSE top isa list is to move money round to keep the best deal I do think this needs flagging on the Trading 212 entry - as essentially it tops the list because it is a great short term deal but your calculus may change if its harder to move out of
Not sure I'd agree - there's nothing obliging any ISA provider to accept transfers from any or all others, and anyone wishing to continue to benefit from top rates by shuffling funds around should expect some legwork, although it does seem to be becoming more prevalent that top-paying ISAs are able to promote leading headline rates by incorporating restrictions or having 'gotchas', so it remains as important as ever for readers to do their own research rather than being seduced solely by rates…

Just don't bother with T212 - difficult to extract any T212 funds to any 'typical' bank - involves using a 3rd party platform to get it back to your account. Fine if youre ok with that but too much hassle for me… MSE should make this clear. Really poor that they don't - obviously chasing the promotional kick back. I'll be closing my T212 as soon as I have extricated funds.
